Can someone help me on this. How do you get the 120hz option? I've seen it keeps maxing at 90 and there's no 120hz option available.

Sheriff, any tips on optimizing VR in War Thunder? I saw your IL-2 tutorial and was wondering if WT had niche settings with toolkit or graphics etc that would optimize the experience. Thanks!
Not really. I play war thunder with pretty much maxed out gfx and the same res as IL-2.
Why do you fly the Sabre at slow speeds?
Coincidentally I started playing the Sabre/Mig sim for once. Was pleasently surprised at how quickly I adapted to it vs prop games. Hope that IL2's Korea gets a good playerbase size to experience it like WT.

Hard to tell but there are more now then 5 years ago. That is for sure

At least in my timezone I can pretty much play what I want. Every tier has games

Despite its flaws, war thunder sim gives consistent intense combat which really scratches the dogfight itch. U rarely see furballs in other sims
agree, I have il2 but i prefer WT sessions over it although sim aspect is definitely better in il2

Hi, I really enjoy your vidoes and you're the reason I've come back to IL-2, I currently like to fly the BF109 F4 but going forward I like to get a new toy, which aircraft/bundle/DLC would you recommend and which BF109 varient you think is a must have? Cheers!

Can do. But flying solo is even for the most experienced players very challenging.

It took me around 10 attempts, but I finally performed a successful take off in the Bf 109 with this video as help. Thank you! Landing, on the other hand, was a little more dodgy.

Hey in your opinion is the p40 able to consistently win dog fights or im i just that terrible at it?
It depends on the enemy and if the P-40 has the engine modification. The standard P-40 is underpowered and can't win anything really. With the engine mod the P-40 can turn with some enemies for a while. Generally its not a plane you want to dogfight in. too heavy. Bf 109s are much lighter and have more engine power.

REAL War Thunder player play ONLY in RB. SB mod is for those who think they are a Maverick or a Hartmann and who come to calm their frustration of not having the level for DCS or RB mode

Any tips for dogfighting with the D9?
Question is what do mean? Turny turny, loop the loops? Ideally you don't. At all. Never. You want to avoid that. If you need to turn do it briefly, do it with speed and retain some speed. in the defensive and slow you are mosty and supremely fucked.
@@SheriffsSimShack The German aircraft experience in general haha I'm a beginner, only bought the game 3 days ago, but today I finally got my first 2 player kills, both in a single sortie (then I died to a Tempest trusting that friendly frontline too much before I could land back home...). Downed were a lone early Sturmovik and a lone P-38 responding to the loss of it, but a kill is a kill and the 38 was initially on my tail so I guess I wasn't completely handed it on a silver platter either. Right before that flight, I started chasing 2 aircraft, lost one of them, and WEP'd the hell out of my 109's engine tryna catch what upon closer inspection was just a Dora. Literally melted my engine a bit, had to repair. Unbeknownst to me, the aircraft I lost was a La-5 and it was right on the tail of both me and the Dora. Couldn't believe my luck after watching the replay that I didn't slot in too close in front of that bandit, and how I was completely unknowingly on the run away from it. Generally though, I've made some pretty poor decisions the days and sorties before, and often paid the price for it. Slow, low flying and turnfights are bad indeed! lmao Funny because I often just barely couldn't turn better than my opponents which made me commit to these futile attempts in the first place.
@@hunormagyar1843 it really depends on the german plane. a Bf 109 F-4 or even the G-6/G-14 can hold their own against many allied aircraft in a turning fight.

Was that an AI or player in that A-20 gunner seat? My experience with bouncing enemy bombers is that the AI gunners are really inaccurate, until they suddenly aren't. I don't really have any experience against player gunners and I don't know how they usually are.
That was for sure AI which just decided to hit me with a perfect shot at 500m going paralell.

I'm using 400m in the 109G2. I also did a few missions at 400 with the mustang and that went alright too.
Hello. I am using Quest 3. OpenComposite and others are installed on my computer. But when I select OpenComposite from the switch, SteamVR is blocked. But VR starts like a PC screen, not 3D. I tried everything but in vain. I have a 6800xt card and I need savings. There is no question about installing these programs on the computer. If you have the chance to make a video, I would be grateful. Thank you.

@@calypso976 I used the G-2 for a bit and didnt like it much. Mostly because of the WMR Plattform. I liked the Q3 more from the get go.
