Have you ever done a video on what setup you use to play? I’m looking into purchasing trackir5 and the warthog throttles and joystick setup. Setting it up for this game I feel will be a process, I’m wondering what you use?

nice video, in IL 2 as I move my vr head to the side of the canopy, as I get to the edge the view starts to recenter. This is different than DCS which allows the head to go outside the canopy. It looks like you can get right up to the virtual canopy? are you using VR?

The game limits the head movement and you can't stick the head out of the cockpit.

@@SheriffsSimShack thats odd because in vr, i often find my head partially or all the way out of the cockpit with the canopy closed! happens unintentionally all the time when im checking my six and its honestly annoying. i wish the game prevented my head from clipping through. is this something i need to change in the settings?

You can clip through the frame if external views are allowed. If you play single player or on servers with normal difficulty that is possible.

Yeah that was me apparently. Never been a problem in the past so I probably just knocked the mic with my hand and moved it too close to my face, now I've heard it for myself I'm really surprised no-one spoke up and told me.

No, I dont think we will. We are a squadron who are happy to shoot the shit while we fly and we arnt limited by a one way radio system, so we are used to talking over eachother without loosing much info. When somthing important needs to be relayed we can "clear comms". Not interested in doing WW2 reenactment in a video game.
