I noticed how pixelated the water is with my current setup. Nothing I can change about it now. But I adjusted my settings for future recordings. Due to bad server performance I had to disable the ingame recordings. Hence why I kept the 3rd persion view out of this one.

I have good eyes but nothing gets past YT. Couldn't see anything until you started shooting. But you shot well !

NB. One day I'd like to properly fly out with some peeps in IL-2 but it's a learning curve, and I don't have to much time these days.... 🛩🛩🛩

Why are the guys getting stutters? Is it a CPU or Internet/ Server speed issue? Did anyone manage to review CPU monitor history after the issue occurred?

Its a very known behaviour of IL-2 Servers when too much AI / assets are used. The Mission creator was just a little overeager.

@@SheriffsSimShack Another reason to not use VR. I've been looking at the Tobi Eye Tracker 5 for head and eye tracking lately. Now I have a 120Hz OLED TV I can't fit my TrackiR5 on top unless it is looking down at me in my flight rig.

Is game performance always this bad for big groups?

No. Not really. Not when only real players are involved. But lots of AI and assets cost a lot of perfornance. Was a little overdone here.

If ur in a group of four why don’t u fly in a diamond formation

Ich find es heftig das du Gegner so gut sehen kannst. Ich sehe bei mir Auf dem Bildschirm garnix ! Evtl machst mal n Tutorial wie du deine Grafik eingestellt hast, damit man wenigstens Gegner erkennt. Bei mir tauchen die 100 Meter vor dem Flieger auf und zack sind sie wieder weg. Coole Grafik und so aber absolut zum Kotzen das das halbe internet nach besseren Grafikeinstellungen sucht für das game. Hötte ich das ehr gewusst hötte ich mir das Geld gespart muss ich gestehen

Ich habe nix spezielles eingestellt. Hohe FPS, guter Bildschirm, maximale details. Fertig.

The one thing I wish IL2 players would do less of: "Wing off, wing off! Wing off my bandit! Wing off, please validate me or else I have nothing else to live for, fuck your comms." You're not guilty of this at all, but between this and the revisionist historians, that's why I haven't played IL2 series in 2 years

On the otherhand. This happened in real life. Germans said horrido. Still today we have "splash bandit" It is also required to confirm kills and raise attention to aerial victories. Another function of this is to inform the squad that there is one threat less in the air

I think what @patjames745 meant is that, by all means, announce that you've downed a bandit, but don't go on and on - and loudly - trying to draw attention to it like a kid that wants the whole neighbourhood to know he just scored his first football goal. It just jams up the comms, hurts the ears and possibly masks important information from others like new threats. As Sheriff pointed out, the Germans would call "Horrido!" - which is just one word compared to "Sieh dir das an! Ich hab ihn! Ich hab ihn! Ich hab ihhhhnnnnnn!" 😆
