I just saw your video. You have no idea how much some of us appreciate that you aren't just showing off you rolexes etc. This two tone lunar pilot and your wrist timex one... amazing pieces. It shows that you dot need to spend a lots of money to have very cool and unique pieces.

I have an older Casio Solar Atomic and it required a lot of charging in the sun, rarely reaching high charge. I ran it that way for over 10 years, and eventually it would hardly get to medium level so I replaced the battery. Now it charges to high and thus the battery was always the problem. If I were you I'd get a new battery and an LED watch charger and whenever it gets down to medium or low give it a night on the lower level in the LED charger, or a day in the sun. Avoid getting the watch hot which the LED on high may get too warm, and full direct sun may also be too hot. But keep charging it till it registers high and make sure power save is on, then it will survive storage better.

I can see taking Los Angeles CA off the dial, and even not putting Nashville TN on, but how about a U.S.A. on the bottom of the dial. Most Swiss companies do (or did) put SWISS under the 6.

That is a piece of crap for that price point! I can get a Sieko, Hamilton and an Orient for that. I mean it's a quartz movement dude.

Long Island watch makes an excellent metal jubilee for SKX, solid end links and milled clasp, they even give you a screw driver that fit the screws perfectly (Scews, not pin and collar links) and thick spring bars that fit better than Seiko spring bars. $59.00 a no brainer.

Why don't you buy yourself a Skmei full metal for only 28 pounds pretty much the casino full metal looks like it same size, and even the same looks and weight match, so look into one you will be amazed. Why don't you buy yourself a Skmei full metal watch for only 28 pounds? The casino full metal looks like it's the same size, and even the same design and weight match. Take a look at one and you will be amazed, or simply charge the watch more.or just charge the watch moor.

I have a couple of tough solar/ multiband 6 g shocks (looking at getting one of these in the gmw b5000 range) I just keep them on a windowsill in a spare room when not in use. They always have full power and recieve atomic clock radio signal nightly.

I have had a Hesalite Omega Speedmaster Professional MoonWatch, A Mark II Omega Speedmaster, A 3511.50 Automatic/Date Speedmaster & sold many others as an Omega retailer, and I can assure you that is not true for the Speedmaster. Nor is it true for for the other lines, as the Seamasters are some of the best designed & built diving focused timepieces in the industry. But okay

I bought this watch from a Japanese shop in, I think it was 2020. It was their last one. I also have a Seiko titanium without any DLC coating. I'm always torn because I like the natural look of titanium but I also really like the strength and 'feel' of the DLC. Anyway, this watch is a real treasure. It's amazing how light it feels on the wrist in spite of its size.

You hate solar for your purposes? Just don't store it in a dark place. It's not so difficult. Also i saw a beat up B5000 and it looked awesome. So no need to worry about scratches at all.

I keep mine in a Southern facing window sill and it is always fully charged, even if I haven’t touched it for months. As others have mentioned, the power reserve is many months if fully chaeged when you put it away.

This is so cool. If I wasn't obsessed with my original lunar pilot, this would force my hand to buy it. For the last six years I've worn the BLP all the time, but especially when failure is not an option. Currently in grad school and it's on my wrist a lot for that reason. So I can't justify the meteorite because it's just too cool and I'd end up wearing it instead of my current LP. Not a bad problem to have. Thanks for the vid

Which is better, the all black on resin or the silver on metal bracelet? I like the look of the silver, I’m just worried I will hate the cheap bracelet. Any thoughts feedback (from anyone) would be greatly appreciated.

Green Hills Mall Omega store in Nashville! Yeah, I bought a Speedmaster there when they were at the old location at the corner up from the Cheese Cake Factory. I have since gotten rid of it and purchased my one luxury watch that I'll never let go of - Rolex Submariner 14060M, circa 2008. Good video.

I can definitely understand that. I did mine back when I had some thing like 30+ watches so it didn’t feel quite as bad. I honestly forgot I owned it by the time it came back. Lol. Having less than 12 watches now, I would definitely feel it and miss it much more and I’m not sure I would do the Omega route this time due to that.

Nice vid and review. I pretty much agree with your review on both. I first bought the Lunar Pilot 45 mm (Archive Series) that came with two straps (the textured black leather and the black nylon) with the textured black leather strap which I really like. Love the watch! I bought the Lunar Pilot Meteorite soon after release from Bulova. I wasn't a fan of the strap it came with so I purchased the textured black leather strap (same as the one with the Lunar Pilot) and it looks great! I've rec'd several compliments on both watches. Anyway, thanks for sharing your thoughts and review. Looking forward to more of your vids. Oh yeah...I subscribed!

Believe it, or not, I am not a major fan. First of all, the panda face is far from the Lunar Pilot! The current Bulova is itself just a homage, even if it's in house, so why spend 400 to 700 DOLLARS and get kinda like a make-believe, if I can get another make-believe for 1/5th or less of that? AND Bulova back-pedalled on those 10secs/year, because it has NO thermal compensation, so a good NORMAL quartz can be just as good as that 262KHz Bulova. I have one of those strays that is getting about 15 secs/year with a 2 dollar el-cheapo quartz calibre, because sometimes you just get lucky with them, and that Bulova could be off by a lot more! This thing rings my alarm bells for SNAKE OIL! So, what else is there? Well, it's like everybody thinks that Pagani finally made an original, but have you even looked at the Pagani PD-1782 ???? It's like Pagani's engineers said "we can do this one, and nobody is gonna notice!" Eh, so the pushers are wee bit different, and the dial (for NOW at least) only comes in a "panda" pattern, like it got into a fight and got 2 eyes colourised instead of being all black-face, know what I mean, but EVERYTHING else just screams "LOOK at ME! I'm that OTHER moon watch not-by-Omega homage!" YEAH! OH YEAH, and THIS one has guess what? It has a thirty-nine millimetre case, so this is like NO problem on anybody's wrist!!!!! On sale at AliExpress for way under 80 dollars all the time!
