Better from the likes of Casio ? I'm not sure if that is the case. Casio made a square steel G-Shock that cost 105 euro more than the Tissot PRX digital. But still doesn't come with a sapphire crystal. This one is for me. Going to get a black one.

I hope there is a market for it, as I do like it. They went very safe re issuing the seventies style with the bland surround. I hope it survives and develops. I guess it's for guys like me, fifty years old, lived the seventies, have had all kinds of watches , mechanical, auto, three hand quartz and finds himself going back to digitals. I wear LCD digitals ninety percent of the time. Most are Casio and GShocks, most resin. High time for somebody to come out with an all stainless steel digital in a more modern size. Casio stainless steel digitals are re issues too, making them too small. GShocks in steel offer more but are about this price. Do you really think a Swiss brand would offer something like this at lower than they did? Yeah little value, as any watch is nowadays, just a choice and I'm glad Tissot did it. Hope it sells a ton and make the likes of Citizen and Seiko get back in to the LCD digital game. That would be a Godsend.

I'm going to get one next month (the black one). As I like digital watches. And besides Casio, there are not so many around in steel. Especially coming with a sapphire crystal as well. 395 is steep. But worth it for me.

That’s my issue too. It looks nice and I’m sure it works well but the price point is confusing.

It would look a lot better in a negative display.

That would ruin it. Negative displays are usually much harder to read.

Nice watch, but overpriced.

It is a strange watch

Great concept, bad execution. The digital display and branding feels lost in all that dead space. If the made the display either sqaured or round to add a date display it wouldve been much better looking in my POV.
