Thats practically two club distances hence the 4i mentioned..Still waiting for a video where they are two completely different designs with THE SAME loft. Forget the number on the bottom. Its actual loft is what matters most. Thats why companies are backfilling the bottom AW because they're effectively going backwards (PW in the 60s and 70s were close to 50deg)

I have the Max driver, very happy with it, changed from Stealth HD, and just ordered the std 3W. It will be up against the Stealth 16.5 3HL. The adjustable neck, even though it increases weight, will give more flight options. The Stealth will take some beating though. I do carry a B21 5W which is very easy to launch...

My interest in the review dropped dramatically as soon as they said they wre using the Kirkland ball. It is known to be a very spinny ball so the test results were not going to be comparable to their iron reviews with their regular test ball

More consistent distant control on off center hits is great assuming you judge correct distance and aren’t standing directly over the ball hitting nearly perfect center every time

Tonally different vs the previous Kirkland wedge review. Very strange vibe in general, like counting the grooves (you can count the number of videos discussing the number of grooves on an iron face on one hand going back to the earliest TXG videos). Side note, the logo in general is probably the dumbest thing anyone in golf talks about. You don't see it at address or at any point during the swing. Stop being such vain prissies about it.

What would lead to leave such a stupid comment?? You have no idea about the circumstances within Mikes life. He’d be the first to admit that he’d rather be in better shape but it’s not always that easy. Keep the comments relevant to the content or find another place to watch your golf content.

this was super interesting! i have the same problem and path issues as mikey, and i never thought that the pause drill and increasing lateral movement and width of stance can help path and rotation. definitely time to work on that!

Can you do a video on 120g iron shaft comparisons? Like DG 120 x100, c taper S, project X 6.0, and some modus options? You did it for the stiffer and heavier options often around 130 and I think a 120g weight video would be appreciated

As a low handicapper, I may not switch my iron set to KS because their shaft does not fit for my swing. But for wedge I am open minded, I can keep using my fitted shaft into the KS wedge head. They are only 30% of the cost of those big branded wedges but the performance is not bad at all. I think the real problem is NOT how bad KS clubs are, is how other big brands are so over priced. For $200 CAD per wedge from big brands, the KS really gives average golfers a chance to enjoy the game of golf instead of paying massive to over priced equipment. Look at what commercials are claiming: couple yard further, couple mph ball speed faster. Is that true? USGA smash 1.5 policy is there, how can my last year $800 driver becomes garbage when new $1000 current model is released? I will go to Ian Fraser for a fitting finding my optimal numbers then keep using them, not keep chasing new model..

Rogue LS is out, Taylor Made mini driver is in. The fairways found stats are night and day in favour of the mini. What I’m really interested to know is how many of the pros will pitch up at Carnoustie for the Senior Open with this set up. Course is ‘99 Open condition and fairway finder is the order of the day.

This highlights the importance of finding a good coach to help players improve. After alignment was addressed they really only changed one thing which was lower body weight shifting first before arms started. The rest fell into place. You can only change one thing at a time on the range and practice it.

You are right, when I went to demo the Wilson Blades they told me everyone loves the way they look but no one wanted to even try them in the hitting bay and were surprised that I wanted to hit them. I hit the Wilson MB's (compared them against the P7-MB, Srixon Blades and my Srixon ZX7's ) and one thing I love about Wilson's is the weighting (my miss is left ) these want to either stay straight or gently fade right... I'm going to move back to blades (the last time I played blades was over 10 years ago, moved to CB's and my game has been crap ever since). I know I'll be giving up some yardage but I love the look, feel and workability of blades..... My last set of Wilson's were the Wilson 1200's (high school golf team 1973-1976).......

Fantastic guys! Stay with it Mikey, the change may be painful for a while. I have pretty much all the same issues as Mikey (strong grip, aim right, body doesn't rotate through, etc.). Decided a year ago to start correcting my issues as my handicap had been the same for 20 years. I see light at the end of the tunnel but some days are very frustrating. Best of luck!

This swing analysis and recommendation will serve Mikey well in the coming months. The hardest part (for all golfers) is commitment and implementation. These swing modifications take time; thus FORGET about scoring; hell do not even fill out the scorecard. Go and play multiple rounds as if each is a "practice round. Get comfortable with each change and tell it becomes part of your swing mechanics. Lastly, be patient and stay committed Mikey!!!!!

The numbers are no doubt great to analyze vs the big brands. Having an On course Vlog with actual performance will show there’s not much difference between these and anything else out there and the best part about that is you’d be having fun and more money in your wallet for Hole #19! Rick Shiels Vlog just loaded one day ago to prove this very point.

Ian and Mikey could have easily avoided doing anything on their products, but they didn’t. They put them on center stage, hit their balls/clubs and gave them free air time and publicity. Then they gave their opinion on the competition. I don’t see Costco reviewing Club Champion products anytime soon. I have a great idea. Put Club Champion bays in Costco stores. I’d love to test clubs while my wife buys 3 gallons of barbecue sauce we’ll never use.

Great work. Love that the guys didn’t go straight to the grip. Had this happen and my swing was a train wreck for a month. All I could think about was the grip. The guys talked more about feel and not strictly mechanics. Outstanding instructors. Mikey, you also have a great instructor with Ian that knows your swing better than anyone. Please do a trade with him. You listen to his instruction at home. In exchange, he has to listen to you and play the clubs you fit him with!!!! :) Thanks again. You guys make it fun for us.

I agree with the driver and appreciate the comparison with your gamer. I’m not in the market for clubs but for that price I might say I’m a little bit disappointed that this seemed a tiny bit biased as everyone may know Club Champion doesn’t have these for fittings. They do look “cheap” with the branding though lol. Performance wise with wedges and irons, they are perfect for beginners to beat up their first set but have modern technology at their disposal. You did point that out at the which was nice.
