I'm Julia and I love everything guinea pig-related. I have five guinea pigs who live in a DIY cage that we built ourselves and who do cute things all day long. I film everything piggie related, from informational videos to cute guinea pig shots to random bits and pieces :) Hope the videos bring you a few minutes of piggie happiness :) With this channel I mainly wanna have fun and I hope that you do, too!
I upload every Saturday evening (morning if you live in the US) and Tuesday evening, and would love to hear your suggestions for new videos!

my eldest piggie is definitely going deaf. i have to let him smell my hand or gently tap next to him to wake him up when he’s in a deep sleep
Wilbur is huge!
I split up with my partner at Xmas. Not only did I lose her I lost the pigs we shared. I actually think I miss them more! It's great to see happy pigs on this channel

Aww. Lumi is my favorite piggie.
I think my 7 year old boar doesn't see so well anymore, but his hearing is still ok thankfully. Maybe the others know Lumi can't hear and that is why Wilby and Lulu went to get her and tell her there was food in one of the last videos, when she was sleeping in the wooden hidey, remember? Can't wait to meet the new pig. All your piggies are so adorable.

Lulu is my spirit animal.
I had a guinea pig with one eye who was rescued from a breeding situation. She didn’t seem to be concerned about the missing eye at all. My guess is when Guinea pigs (or maybe pets in general) become disabled in a non- life threatening way, they don’t think about it once they adapt to it. Since they don’t live in the wild, I don’t think that not being able to see or hear well is as much of a problem.

I love hearing the piggies eating; it is so relaxing.
The chewing noise from guineapigs is the only chewing noise I can handle. It really makes me miss my boys though 😢 Can't wait to see the new herd member and hope bonding works out!
I’m the same way. I actually find it relaxing to hear my boys eating their snacks.

I have a deaf pig, there's an easy test- clap your hands behind them. A deaf pig will have no reaction, hearing pigs will wiggle their ears. My deaf pig also sleeps really deeply, I tap the floor near him to wake him up if he hasn't realised that it's food time.
