All the guinea pigs are adorable but there is just something about Lumi that makes her extra special. I hope that she continues to enjoy good health and enjoys the new baby that is coming.

I like that there is no plexiglass but the gate is fastened 😁

Like many others posting comments, I knew who the pig with the existential crisis was BEFORE I began watching this video. I love how Lulu, Fitz and Wilby all huddle like good little pigs behind the door, while Lumi knows that there is no barrier and gets her lettuce first. Wilby does seem SO good natured for a boar who obviously feels an obligation towards keeping his herd well-fed and happy. Glad to hear that the new pig is "reserved". Looking forward to her arrival.

Oh my gosh, love Lumi! And adorable Wilby, who seems to be the caretaker and makes sure no one is left out, Lumi is a special , thoughtful piggie and love how she is not only taken care of by Wiby, but the rest of the piggies make sure she is there for lettuce time!

You can replace those regular hooks for the hammock with cup hooks. They have a little piece of metal that springs closed over the opening in the hook to prevent cups from accidentally getting knocked off, would do the same for the hammock. Good morning piggies

Könnte es sein, dass Lumi schlecht hört oder sogar taub ist? Mein Meerschweinchen-Senior wurde mit dem Alter auch taub, hat geschlafen wie ein Stein und musste manchmal sanft geweckt werden, damit er das Essen nicht verpasst. Ich habe mit ihm den "Klatsch-Test" gemacht, d.h. über dem Köpfchen kurz in die Hände klatschen und schauen, ob er oder die Öhrchen zucken - er hat nicht reagiert, dafür aber meine anderen Schweinchen.

It's so interesting that they stay inside the cage although the plexiglass isn't even there. It's clear that they're really uncomfortable with the lack of traction on the bare f!oor.

I think Little One was deeper sleeper. I remember one video when he slept with both eyes closed, then woke up and was so confused. He had to lick your finger to make sure it is you.

Lumi is having a mid life crisis. Sadly I know she feels. Sleep, wake up whenever, eat hay, ear veggies, poop and someone cleans it up. Cuddles, more cuddles, it's hard being a GP.

This is not to cast aspersions, but I think I'd take her to the piggie doctor for a general physical. She's seemed a little lost without Nugget, and when the mood is negatively affected, it can impact health. Conditions can pop up, and we don't want that to happen to little Lumi . . . or anybody else!!
