I am so Happy that there might be a new piggie! No one can replace Nugget but I am glad that another piggie can have a loving home!

So hard to take in the fact that she is gone. She was a baby when I first watched this channel. I have 4 piggies. They are 8th generation of a family which started in 2006. Before that we had another family, from 1997 to 2006.

I love it - I always called my agouti piggies "Sweater Piggies" because they look like little sweaters!

I had a pair of lemon agouti sisters. One looked almost identical to Wilby except for a splash of the lemon coloring on her head. The other had large, distinct patches of the dark color with lemon ticking like Wilby, white, and the "lemon" color, which is actually less lemony and more of a "buff" color. I am sure your new baby will be adorable, just like every one of your guinea pigs, both past and present!

Here what youre describing -- giving someone half of the price to 'hold' the guinea pig before you pick them up -- is called a 'deposit'. Usually you have to pay a deposit on something, whatever the percentage of the actual price of the thing youre buying. Then upon pickup you pay the rest. Just a way of making sure people are actually serious about the purchase and have less chance of backing out. How exciting! I called them 'curly pigs' before I realized they had the name Teddy Bears

Lemon agouti is usually dark grey with lemon tips. She'll be beautiful 😊

My Buttercup is a rough haired orange Dutchie with red eyes who considers his cage a guideline and breaks out wherever he decides to. He’s a good ol boy with old man hips.

@@jojomomster3772 😸My Buttercup looks like Wilby, but with solid cream patches. She just turned 5 years old and still gets around pretty good. She has gotten really close to me after I brought her back from a severe case of bloat. She also has a chin that goes on for days, lol. Red eyes are neat!

I don't really like to say this guinea pig is a "replacement" for Nugget as she was a kind of special cutie since I started watching your videos when Sylvester was still with you, but sounds like this guinea pig will be adorable. When I had hamsters, I had a teddy bear hamster for 2.5 years...I guess that would be 2,5 years in Europe due to your area's use of commas as a decimal point. I digress, he was pretty fluffy as well. My guinea pigs that i had between 1998-2005 and 1999-2005 were both fairly smooth short hair, the older one was brown and white and also had a ridge down his back of fur and the other one was a fairly slender caramel colour guinea pig with longer hair on his rump. Technically the slender one was my brother's but we cared for both the same way.

i think you might need more hammocks plus a swiss teddy on the way thats great news

I always find it very heartwarming how the little pigs use the hammock to rest, there is something so peaceful about it In any case, I wish you good luck with the purchase and keeping of the new guinea pig and also that the group receives it well
