In recent months your videos have taken a wrong turn and now come across as being arrogant and patronising. I think you need to take stock and perhaps consider that you do not represent the majority of bikers. Many new, inexperienced bikers will find your comments offensive and belittling and anyone who has ever dropped their bike on this pass will just think you’re taking the p**s out of their misfortune. Why don’t you try to do the route on a Triumph Rocket complete with luggage and a pillion on a Bank Holiday weekend and see how you get on, are you up for the challenge?

I am a builder. use snickers for the last 20 years. This trousers last forever. Some guys at work wear denin and change to a new pair every couple of month. Some of my snickers are 4 years old and appart looking dirty they steel perform with no holes in them. elastic band for the belt will be nice!! take not snickers

I think you’re right there Simon. It is a little more picturess. May I ask. I’ve been researching the 701 for a future bike. And everything has been good. However one thing I’ve recently come across which hadn’t been mentioned at all on reviews is. Yours is the Husqvarna isn’t it ? That is burns a lot of oil ? Or uses a lot of oil.. is that the case ? Stating don’t do oil changes because they top it up every week so always fresh… yes I do know it’s in three bikes virtually the same bike. But think subtle differences. I was there on the Saturday and Wednesday, weather wasn't good this year! On the Wednesday afternoon a quick 10 minute shower stopped the racing for the rest of the day. Great for the atmosphere, but you see loads more watching on the TV! 👍

Put this down as a must do, going to visit on bike at some point and looking for best rides. Walked across lake district on coast to coast walk and its such an iconic location. Live in essex but going to lake district for few days via overnight stop in peak district on my 125. Can you recommend any other similar rides in the lakes?

I rode the old coach road from Dockray to St John's in the Vale, around Thirlmere back road, then down to Ambleside and took The Struggle up to Kirkstone Pass and along Ullswater back to Penrith on Saturday on my Himalayan. What a fantastic ride. Home with a big grin😊

Only been in the car to test for the bike. There’s one very sharp steep bend that quite a few fall off at. The scariest road is the Applecross pass. In Scotland. ( Bealach na Bà, ) But yeah that bend in this road. Don’t fancy going on my own 😂

That’s one reason why you can no longer legally camp in and around Loch Lomond. I believe there are Bylaws preventing you from doing so because irresponsible visitors not just campers have left litter which is damaging to not only wildlife but also the environment. Many trees were also left scorched by fires from BBQ’s and such like. I usually take a strong carrier bag and have a tidy up not only of my stuff but also what has previously been discarded by others and then I’ll dispose of it appropriately when I see a suitable bin. 👍

I rode the old coach road from Dockray to St John's in the Vale, around Thirlmere back road, then down to Ambleside and took The Struggle up to Kirkstone Pass and along Ullswater back to Penrith on Saturday on my Himalayan. What a fantastic ride. Home with a big grin😊

Drove it a couple of weeks ago in a 29 year old range rover, weather was awfull but still a great drive!

Only been in the car to test for the bike. There’s one very sharp steep bend that quite a few fall off at. The scariest road is the Applecross pass. In Scotland. ( Bealach na Bà, ) But yeah that bend in this road. Don’t fancy going on my own 😂

That’s one reason why you can no longer legally camp in and around Loch Lomond. I believe there are Bylaws preventing you from doing so because irresponsible visitors not just campers have left litter which is damaging to not only wildlife but also the environment. Many trees were also left scorched by fires from BBQ’s and such like. I usually take a strong carrier bag and have a tidy up not only of my stuff but also what has previously been discarded by others and then I’ll dispose of it appropriately when I see a suitable bin. 👍
