It's pronounced Pen 'Uh' Pass 😉. I enjoy your videos. I discovered them when I lived in Cumbria. I live in North Wales now & generally the roads are much quieter than in the Lakes, but some are best avoided on bank holidays etc. The best views of Yr Wyddfa/Snowdon are along the road from Capel Curig to Pen y Pass.

Hey up Ali, I did say I can't pronounce Welsh 🤭, also some great views on the a4085 I believe, nice place to live, I'm guessing you ride a motorbike ?

A great road…sometimes detour and do that on my way back to Manchester from my caravan on The Llyn…I NEVER use the A55 further than Caerwys (going TO my van)if you come off at Caerwys there is a stunning ride over the Denbigh moors to Pentrefoelas,do a right at the T towards Betwsy Coed go about half a mile and there is a left turn to Llan Festiniog…easy to miss,I only found it last year after TEN years ! it’s absolutely stunning,nowt on it,it’s know as the Evo Triangle…best road I ever been on…the 701 loved it too !

North wales was my favorite place to holiday when i was young, how cool would it be to ride to top of slate mine 😁

I did.See above post,right at the end of the road,at the highest point near Llanfestiniog,there is a Quarry…I rode right to the top,full 360 views down The Llyn and back…check it out kids…it’s like a secret !
