Hello and Welcome!
I'm Scott and yes my last name is Weiner! I like to make stuff but couldn’t think of a way to express that without my channel name sounding....well....yeah 😳😂 There isn't one facet of woodworking that I like more than others. Ok I lied I'm addicted to my lathe, but I genuinely like the challenge and zen like attitude of creating. I'm a dad, a husband, a volunteer Paramedic/Firefighter so I'll try and get projects up regularly but we will see how that works out. I hope that you enjoy what you find here, get inspired, maybe even learn a bit and if you do make sure to hit the subscribe button.
Be safe and most importantly...Have Fun!

Why are you using clean gravel and not gravel with fines? Clean gravel doesn't truly compact especially with no water for density. Won't be a firm surface for the concrete and will end up cracking with any sort of substantial load on it
This design is exactly what I was looking for. All the other videos are with people that have the fold down tables for the open stand which takes up way more room. I too just tried to check out your website and could not find the plans. Please advise, thanks
It better be when you have to take a home loan for festool
My wife wouldn’t allow me to take out a home loan…I sold one of my kids…no I didn’t…🤔
Never mind you did
Pour a Poxy keep it
Nice shirt
Thank you it’s one of my favorites
Thanks for posting. What are you filling the holes with?
StoneCoat Countertops Quick Coat Epoxy
@@TheCraftyWeiner Thanks!
How long was the run time on the sign?
Hi David! Thanks for asking. The design had a lot of cross hatching and was running at 200 inches per minute. As I remember it was a 5 hour burn give or take.
What size of drum sander is it designed for?
Hi Victor. I have the 25/50 super max mounted on it.
Thank you for asking
@@TheCraftyWeiner so a 19-38 should fit perfectly on it too
@@TheCraftyWeinerim trying to buy the plans from your website but can’t seem to find them
I like the idea of doing something live and whatever happens… happens. Make it real life because that’s how real life works.
Thank you for joining me. We will be doing more of these as part of our normal content plan. 🤘🏻
Keven Spacey really let himself go.
Funny, I didn’t realize that you were such an expert in washed-up looks! Got a mirror handy?
What bit are you using/any tips on feeds and speeds? I need to do a bunch of fine engraving on my new phantom cnc.
Hi! Thanks for asking. Which bits and what are you carving?
It seems this guy does not want to share this information. Someone else asked the same question and has received no response also. Kinda annoying that he makes money off of our watching his “informative” videos but doesn’t share information which would help us get up to speed on our own similar projects without toasting a bunch of bits/cash.
Well since speed and feed depends on the material and bit size so I’ll ask again. What material and bit size so I can answer your question
I have a new table that I wanna make after a couple practice pieces. This slab has a decent crack at the one end and was wondering if I needed to bowtie it before the epoxy or if an epoxy fill would be enough to hold it together in the future?
Hey Mike. Not at all. Great question and thanks for asking. Resin acts as a glue and has more than enough holding power therefore bow ties are not necessary. When you purchase from StoneCoat Countertops Epoxy use my discount code thecraftyweiner for 10% off your purchase and reach out with any questions. 🤘🏻
Cool
Cringe
U gotta cover it man
What sort of fun video would that be? Of course I covered it.
You won't know if it's perfect until it's done
Isn’t that all part of the fun? 🤩
I don't see him abandon anything I see him tapping inside
I agree I bet I do 10 projects for everyone I post
I’ve never done a comparison w a stop watch 🤔 Maybe I should?!?
1. Camera setup. 2. Everything done slow so viewers can see what has been done. 3. Making script, things to be said. 4. Repeat if not said correctly. 5 video editing.... Probably missed few more reasons why it's 3x more time demanding.
Interestingly enough, editing isn’t even in my numbers. That is an in between admin function that just keeps me from my tools in general. All that though, I love what I do!
Ill buy it for 200$ right now
Proof of handmade 🤔😉
Imperial has always been easier to break into fractions mentally. 12 and 16 are much more divisible than 10. You'll never change us! 😂
Oh I get it…that being said when working on CAD for my CNC it’s just easier to use calipers and add two numbers. 🫣🤣
Do you still have plans available? I didn't find them on your website.
I do. Let me check the website. I am sorry for the inconvenience.
At least you can keep the work that doesn't work. 😅😅
Now that’s a glass half full view of life. 🤘🏻🤣 Love This!
That’s not ADD, that’s dumb
I was showcasing my ADD but it seems you’re showcasing your PhD in pettiness. Stay amazing! 🤟🏻
I don't know about anyone else, but I like the finished ends better than a cut-off one, it looks more 'finished' to me. If you hadn't made a video about this, I would have thought you meant it to be that way. Very nice table! I'm glad I could see this process too. Blessings to A Soldier's Journey Home as well.
Thank you so much. It’s a design toss up. Some people like to see the rings on the ends. Thank you for sharing your perspective and yeah check them out. Wonderful organization 🤘🏻
👋
🤟🏻
The Kreg table you recommend is not symmetrical front to back. To get full travel of the fence, the blue track must be positioned in the back, under the red fence.
I haven’t had that experience. DM me some photos so I can see what challenge you are sharing.
@@TheCraftyWeiner I'm using the Kreg PRS 2100 table and after taking advantage of the table’s asymmetry, I’m able to get 4” of the 6” possible fence travel. The last paragraph on page 1 of the instructions calls attention to the need for a “shop-built table extension must be added to the back of the typical table” to get the full 6” of fence travel. What model # is your Kreg table?
Measure three times
Thats the point…my brain calculated 7’0” as 70 inches.
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🥃❤️🩹
I wish I had been drinking before. The mistake would’ve made more sense. 🤣
Table stretcher time
Oh man if they were only a thing lol
Measure thrice my friend.
thats the point…I did…my brain saw 7’0” as 70 inches.
Oopsie
That’s a perfectly good word for the kerfuffle
feather the cut with a sharp blade and you can do a glueup. It hides it completely if done well enough. google how to do it if you havent. I suggest vacuum bagging it when you glue that back as well.
It was a charity based project and I considered that but ended up going w breadboard ends. Gave me an excuse to learn how to do them. You can see the whole project here: kzread.info/dash/bejne/c6iuyLdrYcKaecY.htmlsi=S7IYWNffq_BabPiQ
My Dad. But he'd do it for $1500.
That’s awesome! I gave it away as a gift to a disabled veteran as part of a charity build. 🤟🏻
Get the board stretcher 😮
Or quickly learn how to make breadboard ends 🫣🤭
Oh man. I feel that. That sounds exactly like something I would do😮
I might have cried when it happens. Check out the long form video to see…kzread.info/dash/bejne/c6iuyLdrYcKaecY.htmlsi=KP-VLDB8DO3jdAPo
Plans?
I am soooo behind on these. Hopefully within the month
I had to look twice 👀 so I could see what Spaying a door was 😂😂 👏
It’s the spellchecks way of forcing enhanced engagement. 🤣 Fixed it lol
Looks pretty peaceful man
Sanding can definitely be peaceful. Good music and mindless time. 🤘🏻
So what? ??? point is ??
Nice
Thank you muchly!
Bridle
Gotta love auto correct. Thanks for catching that. 🤦🏼♂️🤣
But we’ll never know what one looks like
You will when the long form video comes out
Dork
Subbed
Thank you so much
Assembly table and no vises or dog holes?
Great job! Look forward to the plans.
I need to build a few torsion boxes for my shop. I also own a sprayer but for things like that would probably roll or at least everything except the top coat, though if you “ roll and tip “ (follow behind the roller with a very fine bristle brush ) you can get a pretty darn good finish. Thank you for this excellent video.
