I Built A $10K Table For Charity | A Soldier's Journey Home

Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

In this video, we're going to be building a $10,000 table for charity. Woodworking is a great way to give back to the community and help veterans, and we're going to be doing it in the most epic way possible!
This charity build is going to be amazing, and we're going to make sure that every penny goes to a good cause. We're teaming up with A Soldiers Journey Home, a charity that helps wounded and disabled veterans by building them a new home. We're excited to be able to help this first responder based charity in such a big way!

I don't know about anyone else, but I like the finished ends better than a cut-off one, it looks more 'finished' to me. If you hadn't made a video about this, I would have thought you meant it to be that way. Very nice table! I'm glad I could see this process too. Blessings to A Soldier's Journey Home as well.

Thank you so much. It’s a design toss up. Some people like to see the rings on the ends. Thank you for sharing your perspective and yeah check them out. Wonderful organization 🤘🏻

Thank you so much. It was a group effort from the creative makers who helped the build to my videographer Kendall who documented the whole thing. I can’t do it alone. 🤘🏻

A note for the editor: It may help in the shots in the shop to lower the brightness a bit, as it looks over exposed. Also consider looking into LUTs or other forms of color grading that would give the video more of a professional look. Other than that the video itself is very well done! (Also, you may be going for a more "natural" look to begin with in which case ignore me.) As for the project itself, I think it looks quite lovely. The only thing I would have liked done differently is the epoxy on that recessed emblem. It looked a bit er... messy around the edges, and I couldn't quite tell from the video if there were bubbles but my concern stems from not seeing you use a blowtorch or heatgun in the footage.

Thank you for all the amazing feedback. You got it…natural look is our style. It’s our desire to have the viewer feel part of the shop. As for the challenge coin under the StoneCoat Countertops epoxy I can assure you it was crystal clear. I misplaced the footage for the heat gun. Happy to DM you a picture if you would like to see it, just tell me where to send it. Thanks again for watching and commenting and please support our chose charity in their fantastic work. 🤘🏻😍
