A Trick to keep your Epoxy Pour from leaking

:50 seconds you will find my explanation on preserving the live edge
1:49 is the actual pour for asmr lovers
3:30 is the final look at the table
My goal is to share a little trade secret? I found a more efficient way to keep my live edges while pouring epoxy. My clients seem to desire more than square edged river tables. So, build your box wide enough to account for your desired width. Next, silicone some edges you may feel are leak risky. Finally, seal the outer edges with a MUCH cheaper epoxy. 1/4" thick pour. This has also kept me from dealing with an immense amount of leaking under the slabs. I tried the silicone underneath method. But that's so messy and doesn't often work. Anyways, hope this helps and makes sense to you.

I like using Odie's oil but I actually used a car wax finish on the epoxy for the glossy look

If you built the mold right and had it sealed right you wouldn't have to go through all those extra steps seems like to me it's a waste of time
