    Richard and family, I can't imagine what type of person would find something nasty to say about you folks. You're a wholesome, downhome, bread and butter American family. I've been watching you since year one when you were laying out footings for the cabin. I love that you are sharing your experiences with us all and also you are a teacher whether you know it or not. You are teaching me and all of us that these things are possible with a plan, good old fashioned hard work and dedication to excellence. I always look forward to new videos. God bless you and your family and keep up the amazing, inspiring work. 🇺🇲

    This is my second comment of this video and I just want to say Richard I feel blessed being able to watch your channel knowing that there is not going to be a bunch of foul junk coming out of your mouth like there is on so many channels that are out there today your channels are ones that I feel safe having my little grandson on my knee watching and you are greatly appreciated my friend, I know that you are a brother in Christ and I pray that he continues to bless you and your family!!!

    Thanks Ervin. We want everyone interested to be able to watch without being surprised and or turned off by content that has no place in a family setting. Don’t understand why or how someone could publish fowl comments or video. But evidently some “can’t help themselves.”

    Beware of using a hatchet below knee level! The arc of your swing can bring it right back into you, I did it once splitting 1X2's. I guess it would have been a camp style like you described on the head type. The lower point of the edge deflected straight into the part of my shin that is skin over bone and went in 3/8ths of an inch by the blood mark on the blade, I was wearing shorts. That hurt like nobody's business! I guess just penetrating a bone isn't considered a break, all the ER did was put a band aid over it. I was worried about a bone infection or something, heck I already had a band aid on it when I walked in!

    Well in that case I will speak out if this were my setup I would set that wall back a couple of feet giving me more access around the back of the mill or move the mill out by building another footer and cantaleaver a small roof going opposite direction and covering the end of the new placement of the mill it just seems way to congested around the back of the mill for my liking I would never be able to not feel bound up I truly hope I am not removed it isn'ty intention to give narogrative feedback just saying I would not be comfortable in that small space

    Good ideas. Wish I had known before I built it we would have a new mill. I don’t mind working the same set up like we had the last five years. We have a plan to add an area on the end for shaving logs and such. Probably won’t redo anything.

    WOW! I can’t believe how fast that cuts! It’s a beautiful machine. I love the debarker. What a great feature. Two things I never understood about Woodmizer, why dump the sawdust where you walk?? And tie the coolant valve to the throttle Woodmizer. Otherwise, like I said, WOW! That’s going to be fun! Take care. Brian from RFL.

  • @OutpostReview
    @OutpostReview7 күн бұрын

    Hey Brian, It is classic!! However you are right. The smaller and much cheaper mill I had before was (automatic) in a sense with the water tied to throttle and clutch and didn’t turn on until you engaged blade to cut. Woodland mills are the same and some others. It could be done. It’s a small change I have to make but am still happy with the mill and it should last longer as heavy duty built as it is.
