Great video
I saw a comment the other day it said “Beterbiev doesn’t just knock his opponents out, he breaks them down piece by piece until there’s nothing left” He’s a bit like Loma and Usyk applying constant pressure but he has the power to end the fight quickly. What loma and usyk do over 10-12 rounds he does it in 3-4
Thanks coach. The part about the back leg helps me out a lot
Great break down of Artur's style. A few of his sparring partners have said when he hits you it's like being hit with hammers. fantastic fighter. thanks Fran.
top vid. thank u Sir!
This is wrong the hook is only thrown from the hand you jab with a right-handed fighter throws a left hook a left-handed fighter throws right hook. He's showing a right-handed stance throwing a hook with the right hand when he's really throwing a straight right cross.. talking about a foul punch is false you can throw a punch that way you won't get a warning by a referee in the amateur or the pros a right-handed fighter jabs with his left hand a left-handed fighter jap with his left hand.righth hand fighter has a straight right a left-handed fighter has a straight left. fighter japs with his right throws a right hook from the right hand. Easy way to remember the you hook with the hand you jab with. These British boxers and coaches have an abstract way of explaining
I find way less power results from that insanely high back foot and extreme pivot...that goes far past natural pivot and weight distribution
Excellent analysis Fran!
Hi, Fran! You are in top shape, where is the belly? :)
I am bumed out that we wont witness the two greatest light heavyweights of all time go at it.
Thank you very much
Great analysis as usual, Fran. Beterbiev always impressed me working off the ropes too. What a formidable fighter.
Cheers. Yes, lots in the locker of that guy
great breakdown and explanation
Thank you, glad you liked it
Your breakdowns always give me loads to think about, thanks
Thanks, glad it's thought-provoking 🥊
Bivol and Beterbiev seem like the perfect modern boxers to study. Great videos on both fighters.
Thanks William, they are brilliant to study, you're so right
Thanks coach 🙏 Learning never ends.
Thanks for the tip coach .
Is there a full video about this?
Excellent breakdown!
That constant shifting of weight and pressure reminds me of how Inuoe fights. High risk and exceptional distance management, they are confident of their power and the subtlety is in the delivery. Excellent breakdown , coach. Will try these small adjustments and train.
Yes, and Subriel Matias, too. Their punches start breaking their opponents in the first exchange.
@Just_a_Reflection thanks for the recommendation!
Yeah inuoe be having his hands low alot. This guy doesn’t he has a solid defense
@@giovanidiaz2191he keeps his hand low if the opponent is slower that was against low rank fighters back then

Can you please share some bodyweight Power workout to increase our punch power and workout for agility
Waste of time. Just had to get to the point
I've been focusing a lot on defense. Learning so much from coach Anthony and frans sand. It boosts your confidence when sparring!!! You'll go in the ring knowing that you wont get hit as much. Focus on defense fellas
Nice And Humble scousie ,a solid no noncence trainer, no fucking movestar behaving!👍👍🇱🇺
Lovely... and a lot of martial arts they snap it towards the end for extra power I don't know if that's so sweet videos thank you sir
Love you man ❤
Mean uncle🔥🔥🔥
Lovely videos thank you
Love your work Fran!
Excellent.
Great content coach , i like your calm demeanor & way of explaining the little little things like straight cross and extended cross . There is no background music or written instructions on videos which makes it even more surreal.
Are boxers able to slip the way he shows during the heat of an exchange? I'm thinking during the heat of an exchange boxers might not always do their slips so fundamentally. They have to just react with a quick slip sometimes.
James Toney, my all-time favourite fighter. he could do it all. He could counter-punch, he could fight on the inside, he could fight going backwards, he could fight off the ropes and while not acknowledged a lot he he could stalk you down (see the Nunn fight.)
I've been focusing on boxing(striking) for a couple of years now, along with other MMA disciplines, but I have to say your boxing videos have really cleaned up my technique and are the best I've found on KZread for clear, concise fundamentals. We stand more square and less bladed in MMA training to prevent leg kicks, but even still, all the other movements are the same, and it's good to have high-quality videos like this to test the MMA teachings against. Thanks, mate, from one scouser to another! If I ever see you out in town, I'll buy you a pint 😂
Pov my dad when the ufc is on
😂
😂😂
Should I be focusing on videos that talk about short fighter because most of these seem they’ll benefit more for taller fighters am I right
If you watch Juan Manuel Marquez’s first 30 fights he always stepped forward onto his heel. I don’t know how he got away with it. But I don’t know why it took Nacho over 30 fights to fix him 😂
Thanks coach , great content for free.
Awesome video
Don't think this matters with kicks...
Doesn’t matter in the 100 meter sprint either 😂
I've been boxing a year and a half and not naturally talented so had to work hard to develop my skills as a boxer. I've had 4 white collar fights now under different promotions. They were all without a headguard at 16oz gloves, one of which was 12oz. I lost them all which was disappointing. Two on majority decision and the other two on TKO. I'm at the point now where I don't know whether or not I want to continue. Should I keep going or is it just not meant for me?
Funny you mate. Few corkers in your vids. Top quality as always 👌
Excellent advice! 👍
A snowball going down a hill gets bigger and stronger.😂
Thank you! I was starting to wonder if i should just keep my foot pointed forward if it keeps moving to that position. Good to know it’s something that needs to be worked on.
Can I use a broom stick if I don’t have a tape
Real person here/🤨not a bot-these small details you share help immensely with where & how to effectively move my body thank you!!🙏🏼
