I used and alligator clip on the bottom right when I got it and this damn thing only goes down to 50f in the fridge if it’s 70f degrees outside, freezer will go between 4 and 15
FYI, Mbps is megabits per second. So 500 Mbps is about 50 MBps (megaBytes per second). It's been a long time, but I think a byte is still 8 bits but there is some overhead. So, about ten to one. Edited to add: Thanks for the great video. I think you may have solved a problem for a friend fo mine.
@@ChrisDoutre yes. Megabytes comes out after I was an iPod sales dude years ago. But yes, Internet speeds, in this case, are measured in bits.
If it was important to be on the truck it would be made of a more durable material and not some crap that absorbs water and deteriorates over a short time
Even after switching the breaker to off, a good safety practice is to use a multi meter or voltage tester to ensure that the current is off. This is because some lights might be in a different circuit. You should not assume that power has been cut off.

Thanks for the video! I bought a 3rd party replacement shield from Amazon and went to install it but it looks like I'm missing a part that is needed to be able to bolt the shield to the frame. It must have fallen off when that part of my original shield ripped. I've attached a few photo link. The part is a metal clip that goes on each of the two rear brackets that you thread the bolt through and this keeps the bolt in place. Does anyone know what this is called and/or the part number? I got a new 2021 m1 2 years ago and was hoping i could use my old iMac as a screen. Tried everything. I can get my iMac to run on my MacBook but not MacBook to iMac. So sad
I know, right? Apple stopped that ability to use iMacs just as a monitor a few years back. Just a way for them to force you to upgrade.
@@DIYBRY whats weird is i can use both ipads but not imac? Makes no sense.
@@tradingcomparisons6591 I agree. My iMac is a 5K monitor. I had to get another monitor that was 4K and is not nearly as nice because of this.
Can you open outlet other places in the pantry? Or it needs to be close to there the switch is?
Depends on how much work and repair you are willing to do.
Thanks for this Great video. Very detailed. I came across all the issues you mentioned. The bracket didn't fit so I had to replace it with the new one. The holes on the top to secure the microwave did not align with the previous drilled holes so I had to place new ones. The most difficult part was measuring and getting the holes right where they needed to be. I missed the first time because I took exact measurements and did not take in consideration the space that the bracket was going to take when i place it behind. But i fixed that the second time so don't make the same mistake as i did.
Glad to hear it and happy to help. Hopefully the video was great enough to earn my a new subscriber? 😎

@@DIYBRY so far just electric, it is a new unit that I just got last week. When we went to the dealership to get it the fridge was cold and it was plugged up using electricity there.

I have a 2013 f150 and need the U-clips that the M10 bolts screw into. I have purchased some that were only 1" total length. My factory ones are 1 & 3/16". The shorter ones will not work as they do not clear the metal bracket holes enough. Outside of grinding some material away I thought I would ask if you had a recommendation.
I would just take to Amazon and see if you can find what you are looking for there. Here is was I found after a 5 second search: amzn.to/3xxoomo

Just curious could you spray bedliner on a new one to make it last 🤔.
If you try it out, let me know what you think of it.
Thanks for making the video. With the frozen union I would have taken a Sawzall at the galvanized elbow on the city side of the water supply and replaced the elbow with the back flow unit. I found Superzilla works much better on rusted threads than WD-40 and probably would have loosened the Union, but I would have replaced everything like you did anyway. Thanks

The steel Ford OEM replacement has a cutout for oil changes. I installed a Fumoto drain plug and with a short hose is zero mess. Flip the lever, drain , flip the lever back. Granted is does take a little longer to drain, but I'm never in a hurry doing oil change anyway. HL3Z-7222-E steel skid pan W717461-S439 U nuts W500633-S439 Bolts. Where did you find a steel OEM replacement? Do you happen to have a part number? Also if you don’t mind me asking, how much was the steel? I would rather spend a little more once and be done.

Hi, nice tutorial. This is what I'm trying to do with my house, two lights, one on each side on the garage door area. My problem is, the weatherboard makes it challenging as the lights I wanted have flat back surface. With this regard, how did you make that wall mount base for your lights? Was it something you made or bought from a hardware store and just reinforced it to your weatherboard? Please advise, thank you very much.
The piece the light mounts to was already there in my house. Too bad KZread does not allow one to upload picture so I and the community could see what your house/situation looks like.
But how expensive is fiber? I can't afford fiber since I'm retired. Thank you for video.
For me, fiber is less expensive and provides more speed than Comcast. If fiber is in your area, it is also likely less expensive than traditional cable and satellite companies.
Can you dim down the light level.
Not on the one shown
I use Roku streaming devices for all my TV's on three different levels. I have Comcast 1.2gig service and have a Arris S33 modem and Netgear Nighthawk RAXE300. The modem and router are in the computer room top level. I have noticed spotty service on all levels even the level where the router and modem is. Does this mean I need a mesh system?
Mesh would provide better wifi connection home-wide that just a single router. I have a two-story home and a basement. I have all levels with a mesh system hub (router/satellite) and it work great!
Hard reset solves many problems.
Indeed
Height if moving old doorbell wiring?
Height of the Ring door bell itself?
What if you have a combo modem/router (Nighthawk Cax30)? Would the mesh system still work?
It would be replacing your existing modem/router because it is a modem/router.
Oooh so I do not connect the mesh router to my existing cable modem/router combo?
(MK93S) - Router + 2 Satellite Extenders I must have a different mesh situation 😊
Great workmanship.

Maybe, just a thought. Move the trash can to the bush.
My backyard is not flat otherwise I would. It might not look like it, but there’s a pretty large slope in my backyard. From the back of the house to the back of the yard is 3 1/2 drop. The ground on the sides of the house is also not flat. Garbage can would have just fallen over.
I always take a pic of the wiring before removing anything so you can look at what was where in case you forget 📸
In this case, I had it on video ;) But yes, taking a picture first is always a great idea. What I do for my trailer battery wiring.
My devices kept swinging from satellite to satellite and wasn't stable, did you have that issue as well? If so, how was it fixed?
You restart the system? It will switch to whichever satellite is closer.
Mine don't got a clip, just a wire that hangs in the fridge😭
You could try a generic clip: amzn.to/4bZicSH
I was recently ripped off for replacing that unit item and charged over $200 dollars, by the so called technician, that local company has lost me as a customer for gouging me for an item you can get on Amazon for $10-20 dollars.

For multimeters, I recommend a cheap clamp meter. Kaiweets is a rebadge of white label budget multimeters (available from Amazon US), I recommend the Habotest HT206D (which is whitelabeled and rebadged under Kaiweets) which does AC and DC current, so is useful for all sorts of residential applications, including refrigeration (what you call HVAC) - the DC current feature makes it useful for automotive whereas an AC only clamp meter (most of them, incl) cannot be used as easily for cars. The HT208D is a larger alternative with a little more functionality but I have had the screens burn out if stored in temperatures above 65 degrees Celcius (150 farenheit) for weeks at a time. It does NOT have the fuses and protections that are needed for CAT III and CAT IV applications, or even really CAT II, despite being written on it that it has high voltage ratings at certain CATs, so for those applications you should really be using a name brand, such as ideally Fluke, but Klein is ok I guess too, but for your application, the budget Habotest meters would be plenty for what you need given your limited knowledge of electrical. Your recommended multimeter in the description is actually a very poor choice for HVAC as it does not have capacitance which is exactly what you are trying to measure. Hope this helps.
Thanks for the information for the community.
I actually picked up this one and it reads the capacitance: amzn.to/457uear

Would the capacitor prevent the compressor from running?
If your AC capacitor is bad, you may notice that your air conditioner takes a long time to turn on or doesn't turn on at all. In some cases, the damage to the air conditioner's capacitor may be severe enough to prevent the compressor from starting at all.
@DIYBRY now when it finally turn on,would the ac be cold?
@@steevegmtech7326 if everything else about the AC unit is working correctly, yes.
