I don't know how to put it in words why this is the best band I have ever known but they are...and I guess it just comes down to how they stir feelings inside by the power of the melodies and lyrics. When I hear Augie I get taken right back to my youth, an exciting time, and this is so evocative. Thanks Glen and boys!

From the moment I heard this song, I knew this band was different, and good. Lyrics to think about, get your mind around. "well they poisoned the watershed"

'...in the dumb city dawn, we dispense with the forlorn beasts that we were in the night, grown lean on love.' You don't even need to know what GR's talking about to recognise the beauty of these words. Absolute genius.

They're just bloody good songs. Beautifuly constructed/excecuted,/leave you finely deciphering. That's a good thing. What is wrong with this world and its formulators, that they should miss this?

Augie March and Glenn Richards have not received the credit they deserve. Australia music legends. Glenn is a songwriter with few peers. An amazing educated orator and poet. Love this song so much. There are so many different genres that can relate to this song and its interpretable meanings.

Rapine isn't often used. I love it in this context. The old moron has been ousted, and the new guard, seat cooling, is being blamed for all the crises that visit us, left by the connected units of economic disaster. Hard tasks ahead. Great video.
