I heard Glenn talking to Myf Warhurst and mentioning they were going for, or wanted, a Bowie/Marc Bolan vibe. My first instinct was the Beatles, though, too.

Great track, there's so much going on ... I know Glenn said he started off going for a Bowie thing but it sounds more like Split Enz to me. ... also @3:17 "David makes noise in his plate?" What does it mean?
