All American Travels is a channel with a variety of content all centered around two main themes: travel and history! The main videos feature me exploring various locations, while some other videos will feature drone footage, ships, model building, history, games and photography! I have a weekly one hour live stream on Friday evenings called "History TV," where the main focus is on ships and maritime history! I look forward to you joining me on these adventures!

How did you get the stickers off of the thing they come on. I can’t get mine off.
They’re slide on decals. Cut each individual one off of the sheet, put them in warm water with a little dish detergent in the water. I’d recommend finding a video about waterslide decals so you can see how someone does it.
@@allamericantravels okay and how did you make that bluish gray paint
Very nice 👍
Yes sir!
How can I buy this
I don’t think it’s for sale.

It's not our biggest modeling show here in Louisiana, but it's a very nice one and the Northshore crew are always so friendly and welcoming.

The masts on most ship models that have tripod like stands as you were showing on 26:45 Are always a challenge to setup. I had the same problem with Trumepeters 1/700 HMS hood and Hobbyboss 1/700 uss Arizona, so it's not a you problem, it's just tricky to setup in general i've also heard many other people say the same thing. Other then that, Great build!
Thank you for tip and the kind words, I appreciate it! I recently bought a 1/350 Arizona. I haven’t started building it yet, but as soon as it’s finished I’ll have a video of that one too.
You can all ten of the commandments from here!😊
love it and the wind
It was a bit windy 💨
Mmmmmm
It was great!
Nice shirt!
Thanks! There’s more where that one came from! 😁🤣
Oh yes, my home park. Battleship Memorial Park in Mobile, Alabama. The Big AL. They have a fine collection of military aircraft located on the grounds and inside the pavilion. There is also the USS Drum submarine. In the pavilion you can see aircraft such as the SR-71, F-14, F-4, and many others. Well worth the visit if you ever get the opportunity. The Captains Table restaurant is a great place to eat while you are visiting. Oh, the B-52, Calamity Jane is proudly displayed outside as well.
I’ve been to a lot of museum ships and The Mighty A is one of the best experiences. I never get tired of going!
@@allamericantravels agreed. Thanks for posting. I don’t live in Alabama but have plans to move back in the near future. I grew up on the eastern shore Daphne Fairhope area. I miss my home state something awful. When I see things such as your post it takes me home for brief moment so thank you for that!
@@jyellowhammer Wow! I'm glad I was able to give you a little piece of your home. Thank you for sharing that, I truly appreciate it. I've also been to Daphne a few times.

I love the Ford Edsel 🎉
I never heard of this car until I saw this model 😂
@@allamericantravels they are named after Henry Ford's son, Edsel. The cars were only in production one year. Supposedly they had many problems. But my old boss has a couple with no problems

I just built this kit recently and the hull issue is a big one. I glued the bow and stern together first. After drying I inserted the deck pieces without gluing. Then glued and puttied the seam on the bottom.
Hi Eric, good to know that I’m not the only that had that problem. I just started work on a larger Arizona model and the hull is split up, but not in the same way that it is in this kit.
Is this Academy brand? I want to start kits but only one i can get atm is this one in ur vid it seems. How did it turn out? Thanks :D
Actually, I wasn’t really happy with how it turned out, and the kit lacks a lot of detail. This is a Revell kit. I recently purchased the Atlantis 1/665 Missouri kit from Hobby Lobby. I haven’t opened it yet but judging by the images on the box it seems to be a bit more detailed. The Academy kit is probably better than either of those two.
@@allamericantravels Ah sorry to hear it didnt turn out as u wanted m8! Thanks a mil for the advice/help. The kit im looking at is the Academy 1/700 U.S.S. Missouri. Seems pretty cheap so was a bit sceptical. Goodluck on the Atlantis!
@@garethsutherland9649 I think you’ll be happy with the Academy model. Looks like you can get it from Amazon.
@@allamericantravels I was looking for the Iowa as its my fav but they only have Missouri and Bismarck Tamiya off website in my country South Africa. Being my first ever kit, think ill go with the Missouri. Thanks again for ur replies!
@@garethsutherland9649 Anytime! Good luck and have fun with it!
