I am a Scottish lady live in londen old now but this is wat l want to doin winter l gust got back from killin was supost to be a week but stayd for 8 lol in a log cabin l dont drive ore l be doing this stay safe

I see that! The waterfall was cool, but it did have a big hydro electric dam in front of it, which took the beauty away from it a little, ha!

Last year, I spent 6 weeks exploring Galicia in my motorhome. One of the most beautiful and least visited regions of Spain.
Yes! Such an incredibly beautiful place, and so quiet compared to the rest of Spain.
Another stunning travel find. It's firmly gone on the places to visit bucket list. Look forward to more of your adventures.
Honestly it was so, so good! Beautiful coastline, some interesting history, and super easy if you're traveling in a campervan!

I searched NC500 and your video came up. All i can say is WOW!! I’m not sure us Aussies would cope with the Scottish winter, but our plan is for late spring next year. I feel quite inspired, thank you 😊

You must visit the Sheep's Head next time, the peninsular between Mizen and Beara. There are some epic, unspoilt views, especially at the end of the peninsular!

Awesome! hope you have/had fun in Shetland, what a place! We use Epidemic sound for music, couldn't tell you the names of the artists, but it means we can use music and monetise our vids :)!
Can you park your camper van and sleep anywhere in the dolomites area? do you need to pay or is it free?
Bit of a mixture! Download Park4Night app and you'll find a few spots. Quite alot of ski-centre car parks stay open and let you stay the night.
Rac is amazing. I always buy Eu breakdown when i go. Some family do say dnt forget it its nt needed but i say no u do need

Hey! sorry for the delayed response - yep August, we were there for 6 weeks, from the end of July til beginning of September!
I was there last September. I couldn’t get to all the places I wanted to see, so I have to go back. Incredibly beautiful… couldn’t believe it!
We've come back again this year, and we're now a little along the coast in Galicia. It's so surprisingly beautiful! And there's so much to see!

*Hello Jack & Jo. Thank you for your lovely travel videos.* ... If you get a chance, can you tell me how it was driving with your large size van in the Balkans?... Also, as far as overnight parking, what was your experience with finding low-priced or free areas where permission is explicitly given in Montenegro?... *I did read on your website and also a lot of others have said: 'as long as you are discrete people tend to turn a blind eye to wild parking/camping in the Balkans'. But that's a bit too much anxiety for my temperament while travelling alone - especially in a foreign country. Thank you in advance if you can answer 🌻xx
Hey Tatyana - my apologies for the delayed response, I had a pesky Masters dissertation to finish and I took my eyes off of KZread for a few months! We were in Montenegro for a week, and didn't struggle to find places to camp, there were a few spots we found on the Park4night app, which we'd recommend dowloading. As for driving a big vehicle - the big winding roads were tough, but OK if you're a confident driver. It depends what kind of roads you're used to - if you're from England like us, we're used to driving down tight country roads (although its still stressful!)

And still my main worry is safety with overnight parking: whether physical or mental wellbeing with avoiding anxiety of not having true permission. Still also Montenegro is very interesting. xx
It gets less scary, and we're still nervous about that too! But it is alot easier in Europe, where there are so many spots where staying in a van is allowed, and there are other fellow vans around 😊!

Hi,great video. Just found the what3words location for the big square car park. ///MANFULLY.CHAMPION.MOTORIST was trying to search on the map from the drone photo when you arrived, gave up after 10 minutes and then watched the rest of the video when you mentioned the hike Ruta Picu Pienzu 😂

Thank you! Good question, the roads in Ireland weren't too bad for the size of the van, but I remember there were a lot of pot holes 😂 if you've ever driven down a country road in the UK, then you should be fine!
