  Another great review to add on your resume! I like a lot of things about this harness but I can't get over the fact the flap to open to your bino's comes towards your body and not away. Why would they do that? It's in your way 100% of the time. I'm sure Sitka compared to the other major bino harness brands, I see no benefit to that.

  Its gets magnetized to itself. Its not in your way, just like the mountain harness. If it didn't have the magnets than it would suck

  @@michaelbushey2787 but the flap is still there against your body. I would say the brands that have the flap that go away from your body are 100% out of the way. Kuiu, marsupial, eberlestock

  To me it makes sense to get ur early season stuff in subalpine, so you can also use it for turkey season.

  So many compound youtubers are talking about Sitka, I shoot traditional and went for Subalpine because of the shorter range 30 yards max. Sitka say Subalpine is better for close range so that's my reason.

  Thats one thing that drives me nuts in the sitka system is so many hoods and facemasks. I dont own this piece currently but I did. I found the double triple hoods annoying personally.

  Hello mate. I just purchased this flashlight and hope to have it in a week or two. I admit that I bought it because I thought it was funny for its size and theoretical power. I am not an expert or a big collector of flashlights and I have a greater preference for EDC flashlights, because if you want, you can carry them with you at almost any time and they are more powerful every day.   I have a Sitka Kodiak for sit hunts/waterfowl and a Dewpoint jacket/pants for backcountry/fishing, and that's all I will ever need. You could pick up the Kodiak for around $300 for a long time before they sold out. Great purchase. I do like the cargo pockets on that thing.

  I have a lot of Sitka and Kuiu stuff, but this ambient jacket is my favorite. I figured it would be exactly what it is and purchased the solid mud color. I've been living in it like a sweatshirt for a week now, sleeping in it, living in it, lol. It's fantastic! The jacket with a hood would be perfect. I guess I could buy the womens with a hood in like 2XL

  I'd been wanting one for a while and finally purchased one. It's super comfy! I wish they had made one in 'earth' rather than 'mud,' which is what I purchased. I'm not much of a fan of the bourbon/mud color. I thought it would be similar to the earth color of my Kelvin Down.

  I didn’t see it in your first review of the belt but there is a third zippered storage pocket. Inside there is the pullout rain fly for the main belt storage pockets.
