The “fleece” line in the ambient IS the primaloft insulation. There is nothing between it. It is primaloft active evolve compared to primaloft gold with cross core (aerolite). They are two different insulation packages and “primaloft” cannot be used interchangeably without specifying which it is.

It’s worth noting also the Kelvin aerolite excels in wet conditions because the primaloft gold keeps you warm when wet. The Ambient excels in high exertion or dynamic stop and go - being breathable yet warm when static
