John Entwistle put all the players to shame on this song, vocals and lead bass?

Just saw Roger Daltrey do this tune at Mohegan Sun Arena ( 6/20/2024) at age 80 ( !) - and still smoked it! ( Pete Townshends brother was on guitar)

Nasty! On the Ed Sullivan part they should have had panties thrown up onto their faces and skipped a few beats as they peeled them off...because the beatles music literally had them reacting akin to being on the back of a harley...

Yes Entwhistle deserves all the praise he's getting here, but as a Who fan for 40+ years, I see that Pete is a much better player when soloing than when he was in his 20s. I imagine this was more fun for Entwhistle.

Roger is definitely propping up Johns vocal’s during this…..but Johns bass is at the top of his game. He was the GOAT bassist, in my non bass playing opinion, for what it’s worth.

It's odd that I've stumbled accross this author Kahlil Gibran, with Google saying his most famous quote is 'Love one another, but make not a bond of love: Let it rather be a moving sea between the shores of your souls. ' --- I want to drowned too. Rock on Pete!

An incredible high point of their timeless gift to music. Tragedy this most of this generation will not get to witness such raw power on display, though not sure they could handle it. Moonie missed for sure, but Zach can pound it out like no other.

Of all the British rockers he is the best by far. Composing, song writing, acoustic, electric, vocals, stage presence, longevity, every category he is either the best or in the top three. No one else comes close across the board.
