Enjoyed your video. I'm at 14 months now and at a steady weight of 177 from 205. My heaviest was 265, but before Carnivore I had been fasting twice per week and that took the first 60 lbs. off. I've been more concerned with being too light as I'm just over 6 ft. Like both of the other comments below, maybe a little fasting may be in order to help push your body a little bit. I'm only eating about one meal per day, some days 1 meal and a small meat snack if I'm really hungry. By the way, how tall are you? I didn't catch it in the video if you did mention it. No matter what, you're better off than you were before. Stick with it and I'm sure the extra weight will eventually come off. Good luck to you.

Hello friend, I found your channel through the watch stuff but I've started keeping up with your carnivore diet over the past couple days. I would suggest eating only dinner for a few days out of the week. I lost 20 pounds pretty quick over the past month or two by just cutting down on how much I eat. (Also avoiding sugar) That aside, you should be very proud of yourself for having lost so much weight. Im sure your family appreciates that you are taking care of yourself. Keep up the good work!

Chinese are into the automatic watches especially Longines , I’ve had a about 6 Rolexes I get on well with my AD ,it must be hard for people trying to get their first Rolex plus there’s a lot of snobbery with AD stockists,I’m moving away from Rolex as there are far better watches out there and no waiting lists ,all the best guys from Scotland

Chinese people in general are very "show - offy " so my guess is that they will not stop buying. I asked a Chinese Man who was visiting California what he thought of other brands such as Breitling and while he thought they were great timepieces. he indicated to me that if you bought one and returned to work in one of the major city you would be absolutely lambasted for not getting a Rolex ,

While Rolex makes excellent watches (I own the OP Date Just two tone and have owned the Platinum bezeled Yacht-Master I), the more one delves into watches the more irrelevant Rolex becomes even if available at MRSP. To put up with nonsense in order to put a Rolex on one’s wrist in a timely fashion and without paying a premium is not rationale when one can buy many great and interesting watches for far less. Sinn has been owned by Lothar Schmidt for the last 30 years who was the founding technical director at A. Lange. Look at the range and specifications of the tool watches Sinn offers for a fraction of what people pay for their Rolex (if they can even get one). While Sinn uses third party movements, they do not just slap them in. Like many German makers, Sinn makes enhancements to these movements. There are many other fine brands and even independents (RGM in the U.S. and Brellum in Switzerland for example) who provide interesting and durable horology for price points under Rolex. With Rolex producing from 800,000 to 1,200,000 watches per year (their silly secretiveness keeps the exact number a mystery), Rolex is not a real luxury brand but more like Lexus which sells an excellent car but one which is more or less a gussied up Toyota offered at an enhanced price. New Tudors at $4000 with the MT in-house movements which are made under the aegis of a jointly owned Rolex/Breitling/Kenissi venture have most of the features and aesthetics of many Rolexes at a much fairer price with good availability. The whole Rolex phenomenon in the end is mostly a demonstration of the gullibility of consumers.

I love Tudor. I have had several over the years and currently have the GMT. I also have a few Rolex watches as well. With regard to Tudor holding their value as well as Rolex? Tudor does not hold their value. Almost all steel Rolex watches sell over retail. To my knowledge no Tudor sells over retail. The Tudor GMT retails for $4,375. You can get a used one in good condition for $2,500-$3,000.

Love this watch I too have it on the bracelet but wear it on a Rubber B strap. My GMT and local time are set to match when I’m not traveling and I simply turn the bezel to track another timezone. This watch sits on my wrist for months at a time until I want to put my Submariner back on. This watch crushes the opaline dial in my humble opinion.

Watch prices have definitely increased based upon the MSRPs for many of the major brands, not just Rolex. Brands like Omega and Breitling that 6 or 7 years ago offered many of their key references for $5,000 or under are now offering their current key references for closer to $9,000 to $10,000. This pricing phenomena accounts for why newer value oriented brands like Christopher Ward offered manufacturer direct to consumers outside of ordinary AD or boutique distribution channels have become so popular. I think that a lot of collectors will rethink their “must have” brands and switch from Rolex, Tudor, Swatch and Richemont brands to independent brands.
