    Hi. I also started out at 293. I'm 52, started 7/24/23. I have stalled out at 228. I am going to do the lion diet for the month of March too see if that works for the weight loss and help with the arthritis in my hip that is still lingering a bit. I'm looking forward to following you on your journey.

    Very similar to me. I have not lost as much weight as you. I started at 5’7” 225lbs. After 8 months of Carnivore I’m low 190s & have been that for well over a month. I’m not pure carnivore as I eat hand fulls of nuts & more cheese than I should. Maybe I’ll drop those, fast more hours during the day to try & kick start into losing another 10-15lbs. Best of luck.

    I am on plateau myself, 10 days ago I removed all dairy products including butter and I lost 10 pounds in 10 days. I eat beef, bacon and fried beef fat plus water with electrolytes

    I am 63 year old male, my top weight was 209, but for my height of 5'8" and small boned build 209 was way to heavy. I am a few weeks away from a year on this diet. I have lost 63 pounds down to 145.6. In high school I was around 140. I have reached a plateau as I approach my optimal weight. Now I am losing about 0.33 pounds per week where before I was losing 1.6 pounds per week. My waist is 31 inches down from 37 inches, I am back to wearing medium sized shirts. Everything that the medical industry, the media, and the government has told us about diet was a lie or was from ignorance.

    I've plateaued at 210 lbs for several years. You can do one meal a day or cut out dairy to lose some additional weight or you can just enjoy being weight stable.

    My normal (before babies) weight was 120lbs. When i started carnivore, I weighed 170lbs. Im only 90 days into it now and I hit 149lbs a few days ago (yes it fluctuates a bit). I'm gonna keep going! I think what helps me the most is to exercise when I'm fasting and eat just one large meal mid-afternoon. Rest afterwards.

    Around 290 was my heaviest weight as well. I now fluctuate between 235 and 240. But I've also hit a plateau. I believe it's because I do little exercise because of the pain from a previous back problem, and I've had heart and lung problems in the past, making me 'winded' when I do even simple exercises. But otherwise I do feel lighter, better, healthier. Thank you for sharing your journey, and good luck in attaining all your goals.👍

    The meds will keep glucose and insulin higher brother, watch Ken Berry, medication types that increase glucose, if you are Carnavore strictly i doubt at aome point you need any prescription stuff, it was one thing i did that improved my journey, if i hit a lock weight, i do a 3 day fat fast, then 3 day water fast back to back , 7th day back eating, but only fatty canned fish

    Losing 70 or 80 pounds is a huge win, Congrats. Carnivore lifestyle very successful and can be much easier if can remove all cheat days and never ever slip up. If you are still eating dairy or any highly processed "health" food look to see about removing those. Maybe every 7th and/or 5th day take a meal off. No need to do one meal a day, but randomly if not hungry take a meal off. Some ideas only, good luck.

    Just came across your channel. I’m sick of my plateau, too; similar to yours; similar starting point and current weight. Semiretired Bob seems to have been in a long plateau also. All of the advice I’ve seen is so contradictory I’d given up hope. But, as you are doing, I’m back to focusing on the health gains. The best is BP: from 200’s/100’s to 110’s/60’s. Dropped BP meds by 75% and am close to being able to quit them altogether. … Thanks for your channel.

    I will be doing my one year update soon. people have informed me that you can stop loosing for 1 to 2 years . Just do what I am doing and stay on the course and don't give up, we are much more healthy than when we started out.

    I've been stalled on a plateau for months. It's maddening. I'm currently giving up all sweeteners to see if that helps. I'm down 115 pounds but want to lose 9 more. Good luck to you! I hope we all reach our goals.

    I watched a video that says you can be at a weight for up to two years before more progress is made. it sounds like carnivore can be a long term process, just keep trying, that's what I plan on doing.

    Hi, Congratulations on your weight loss. I agree, sugar can be bad. I was a soda addict and have cut down. Having better eating habits and exercise has helped lose weight. I've also hit a plateau, but no worries, I'll keep my pace as best as I can. Thanks for posting and take care.

    Intermittent fasting would probably help you immensely along with doing carnivore. Try 16/8 for starters. You do most of your fasting while asleep so its quite easy to get into. Congrats on your progress so far!

    Once your body adjust and sorts itself out it will drop probably 10 to 20 lbs fast then platou again it took almost two years for me. Your body tries to hold onto reserves as long as it can then lets go, everybody is a little different you look good and your on the right track . Enjoy the day cheers. Jeff (248 now 190)

    One year ago I was 320 pounds, now I'm 240. I'm practicing alternate day fasting. On eating days it's two low carb meals and quit eating when I'm comfortably stuffed. I've been stuck at 240 for 3 months. Maybe I will try only one meal a day on eating days. Thanks for making videos.

    Just speaking from experience. I eat one meal a day of the BBB&E carnivore diet, and I'm down thirty pounds. Whatever carbs you are eating might be slowing you down as well.

    I think quite a few people hit a plateau at some point in their journey. Perhaps your body is focusing on healing other things . . . for some people, getting rid of dairy restored their weight loss. Others have had some success with fasting to jump-start the process - not necessarily fasting for weight loss, but just kicking their ketosis up a bit. The practice of doing sprints (which helps eliminate visceral fat) has also helped a few. So no, hitting this plateau isn't unusual - just take a look at your personal situation and see if something else might help - in fact, one other thing was to actually increase how much you eat. I discovered that even though I was eating until I was full, I was actually only getting about 1500 carbs a day - which could lead my body to try and preserve fat.

    It is normal to plateau. If you want to lose more weight you can play with high calorie days, then d add one lower calorie days and some fasting days. You can also try one meal a day. Just experiment and see how you feel.

    Keep going my friend I bet you’ll lose that other 20 pounds if you keep going especially years into the diet. I’m 160 days into the diet today trying to heal prostate problems.

    Maybe you should not concentrate on pounds, you should concentrate on inches? Or even better concentrate on how you feel and overall health. I know it is annoying. My BP is normal now after 2 years of medication, none of that anymore. 59 years old and I don't have to pee during the nights anymore so something good might have happened to my prostate. 👍

    If you are eating dairy that could cause a stall. Also try playing around with your fat intake. You may be eating too little or too much. I had to stop making brown butter bites because I couldn’t moderate, I’d eat an entire batch in one sitting 😊
