I'm 58 now and retired early in 2019 at 53. Have the same thoughts about aging. I'm 5' 10" at 250 lbs and though I am overweight, I walk the dogs an hour a day and work on the cars in the garage and keep busy. As soon as my wife retires we are leaving Illinois and can't do it fast enough.

Yes, at 10 seconds I did a wrist watch check, wearing mu Ginault Ocean Rover II.
