The third is the "Education" unit and has full access to the robots software, so it could do autonomous tasks like patrolling and more, but sells for about $10,000. There are add-ons that include a Gripper claw. Not a bad price, just more than what I was looking for. Of course the woke weirdo brigade is upset - how dare any company give customers what they want?!? The wokesters aren't being given control!!
Roll over is for he accidentally falls over he will get back up
Thank you very much, I didn't know that and was not willing to try it in the house, not enough room if it was something that required too much space.
I want to emphasize that creating a video on KZread about Unitree can be a valuable resource for many individuals who are interested in learning more about the model. While some may find it easy to operate, others may benefit from a more detailed explanation or demonstration. I encourage you to consider the potential impact your video could have on those who are just starting out with the model. Your contribution could be an important addition to the community's knowledge base.
First, thank you for taking the time to watch my videos, I'm not very good at making them entertaining, so hopefully they offer someone info that might help. I will make more if needed and will help answer any questions people might ask.
Thank you so much! I didn't realize the circuitry was just out In the open air like that, seems like a giant flaw to me that It doesn't even have something covering everything other than the main body, still gonna get one and slowly modify it to be less likely to be damaged by water though lol
Happy to help.... Please post any videos of your upgrades, I know I'd like a more robust resistance to adverse conditions.
Never knew this existed... 😮 Seems cool, above my budget tho and I got plenty of other bots for now. Glad to see the firmware seemingly improve things, would be nice for voice recognition to be less delayed for you.
The Air is about $1600
New update - beta version kill a human in 101 ways 0.1 beta
I won’t post any of my tips because I know that I have the same problem with speaking clearly. I don’t feel that I should and any other person with such a problem should subject viewers these annoying types of videos.
Good thing you didn't watch....😆
@@teslabe7701 I tolerated viewing this video till close to the end. That’s when I decided to post my comment.
Hella yeah. So this doesn't have an IP rating does it?
It is not dust or water resistant, so I would say no.
Thank you for making content with these, not a lot of people on youtube actually go more in depth with it. Could you make a video showing off the Lidar mapping in the future? I love the fact you put dog booties on it, its functional and it gives her some personality. I was curious, do you think it would be damaged by a few drops of water? I'm planning on getting one and mapping out a cave near me and I'm not sure if the high moisture content would cause any damage.
Thank you for taking the time to watch, I posted a new video in an attempt to answer your questions, hope it helps. Take a look here for smarter people, discord.com/invite/Ynubu8XUgv/login
Cool... load in some coding programming i can see alot of potential with these.
To do any kind of serious programming you would need to get the "education" version. I have the "pro" and is not able to be programed at any level but a simple drag and drop command line in the app, things could change, but I'm not holding my breath....
this thing looks so cool. i wish they had a reseller in the US. so you dont have to go thru all the importing stuff. either way nice video!
It is very cool and I'm very happy with it, just wish the weather would improve so I can take it outside, it's a bit too big and heavy to really use in the house. As far as a US reseller, I bought mine off Amazon. I just didn't feel comfortable ordering from the factory in China, I too worried about Import tax/tariffs and it getting lost in transit..... Plus I got it in two weeks not the 8 plus weeks some have waited.
Sell these
No, it's the only one I plan on building, too many other projects going on right now.
I came up with a simple way to transport a dog. Open the largest portal with 3D printing and search...
There are so many reasons why I would not do that with my robot..... The weight of the legs and the concentration of force at that point could easily damage the bearings of the two hip pivot motors. Also, not knowing what's behind those plastic covers, they could collapse and damage something like the encoders used for position feedback and lastly, I'd be concerned of the 3D part getting crushed, but it is your robot, so......🙄
Gotta do your own repairs for now :)
As long as the factory supports my doing the repairs, I have no issues with that. Take a look at my youtube channel and you'll see I'm comfortable with technological challenges. 👍
did you read him his rights?
lol good one
🤣🤣🤣 To be honest, it's had not to see her as a living thing and feel bad doing this, but it's very hard to move the robot if you don't tie off the legs
How long from ordering did it take to arrive?
I ordered it from Amazon and got in two weeks, they were projecting over a month, so I'd say the shipping was fast.
What are practical every day uses for this device? Is this just for fun? Seems pointless
The robot comes in three grades, the base unit is the "Air" and is basically just an RC quadruped robot, the pro, which is the unit shown here, has the "follow along" remote, voice command, low level programing and a 12 month warranty, the "air" only has 6 month and less torque and speed. The third is the "Education" unit and has full access to the robots software, so it could do autonomous tasks like patrolling and more, but sells for about $10,000. There are add-ons that include a Gripper claw. Not a bad price, just more than what I was looking for. For me it's just a new toy and only pointless if your not into things like this, good thing you didn't buy one....
Looking forward to some videos where you take it out for a spin. Would also like to see any ideas you might have of ways to USE the Go2 for tasks, even if it's more of a nod to future uses. I have a strong interest in seeing how these might be actually useful to own for the average person in the future.
I will be doing a video showing the "follow along" feature as soon as the weather gets better and will show it's voice control and it's limited programming capabilities . As for the robot doing "tasks", this is the pro unit, the "education" unit is the one that can be programmed to do autonomous tasks like patrolling, inspection of your warehouse and more, but it's $10,000, I was just looking for a cool toy and found it here with this bad boy....
@@teslabe7701 very cool! I look forward to more videos with your very cool toy!
Thanks for showing how the app works!
Your very welcome, thanks for watching....👋
Oh man, so cool! With the price of the Boston Dynamics "dog" at like hundreds of thousands of dollars, I thought we were a long way out from anything close to this thing at less than 5 grand (limited as it is in certain ways). You call it a new toy, and certainly it is a fantastic new toy! Thanks for sharing your unboxing. Will have to check out more of your vids with the Go2. We certainly seem to be advancing rapidly with technology in this area!
Thanks Joel for taking the time to watch the video.....👍 The robot comes in three grades, the base unit is the "Air" and is basically just an RC quadruped robot, the pro, which is the unit shown here, has the "follow along" remote, voice command, low level programing and a 12 month warranty, the "air" only has 6 month and less torque and speed. @@teslabe7701 appreciate the insight!
Yay black mirror
dont put in run mode then use the follow along remote. lol. just learned the hardway and didnt get it on camera. felt bad for the poor thing.
The manual tells you NOT to have both the app and companion remote on at the same time, I didn't see that warning ether and had the robot do things I didn't expect..... 🤣🤣🤪😵 I also didn't have the camera recording.....😵💫
Same system in my shop.
Thanks for taking the time to watch my videos...🙂 It's much easier then buying it.
What did you use to have the body spin?
Thanks for taking the time to watch my videos, If you go down in my video list, I have a video that talks about the torso setup. Here's the link, kzread.info/dash/bejne/hpqo2cdqqqS_n7w.html
What mechanism did you use to open and close the claws? And what did you use to make the body turn?
Are you still on Hobby Talk ? Or have you switched platforms ? I would like to see the detail of how you accomplished the claw mod.
Awesome dude
Thank you very much.....
My B-9 models are painted with florescent paint for the "lights", which glow under black light. Thought what the heck I did! But you... wow.
Thank you, I appreciate your taking the time to watch the video and then replying in such a nice way. Go to the RPF and post your build, I'd live to see your work....
Any chance you would be interested in doing this to mine?
