I am not a professional chef but i love to cook since i was a child. Everything i know now i learned from my grandmother and father and continue to learn from my mother.

White older gentleman from Kansas here. I made these in my 8 qt. instapot yesterday, and will make another batch today. I added my homeade pickled red onions to the jalapeno and pepperjack filling, with green chile salsa that i made. The masa I made for some reason was light as whipped cream, it spread so easily, and I always add a cup of green chile salsa to the masa. I really appreciate the parchment paper tip, my instapot was absolutely clean after cooking these 45 minutes. Anyway, these were the absolute best tamales I have ever had, I ate 4 but i could have eaten 15. Absolutely the most moist and flavorful. I'll be adding chile rellenos, pinto beans from the instapot, and fidio sopa for friends today. Thank you so much for the video. P.S. The pickled red onions are a gamechanger.

But you just DUMPED out all of the fiber from the strawberries! Fiber is the most important part of the fruit. I make this (without all of that extra unnecessary sugar..there's enough natural sugar in the strawberries, plus a ton of sugar in the sweetened condensed milk) anyway... I basically use the same ingredients minus the table sugar and I don't strain the berries. Then I pour this into popsicle molds & freeze! YUMMMMM

My family always boils it! I decided to watch some vids on how to make this cause it's been so long and alot of new videos tell you to soak. I was so confused thought I was making it wrong haha! Love your videos you answer alot of questions that had me bothered as a perfectionist and over thinker. I couldve saved my self like 10 min on trynna get that last piece of shell if I had watched this first haha. "For me its perfect but you might wanna add more sugar" i felt this in my soul haha

I was thinking about making something like this. and I've made this with Strawberry and Tajin and Chamoy, and also Blueberry. So I was gonna try cucumber next and then found your video. I'm glad to know cucumber comes out good too!
