HOW TO MAKE THUMBPRINT COOKIES

INGREDIENTS: (Makes 2 dozens)
2 1/4 cup all purpose flour
1 cup unsalted butter (softened to room temperature)
1/3 cup of granulated sugar
1/3 cup light brown sugar (tightly packed)
1 large egg (only yolk)
3/4 tsp vanilla extract
2 tsp cornstarch
1/2 tsp salt
1/3 cup Strawberry Jam (or preserves flavor of your choice)
~BAKE 375F FOR 11-13 MINUTES UNTIL LIGHTLY GOLDEN BROWN~
GLAZE:
1/2 Cup powdered sugar
2 1/2 tbsp of milk
1/2 tsp of vanilla extract
1/2 cup of sugar for rolling (optional)

Yay another Christmas cookie I did the kiss cookies last year and they were delicious I used crunchy peanut butter cause that's what had and almond kisses to top the cookies and the red and green sugar crystals
