Hello my beautiful family from Let's Cook That! In this video I'm sharing on how to make these delicious buñuelos de viento. Even though some people think that these buñuelos de viento are mostly reserved for the holiday seasons, you can find these being sold year-round at local fairs and some markets. I hope you guys enjoy this recipe with some delicious champurrado or some delicious coffee on the side.

INGREDIENTS: (Makes 40 buñuelos With A 4 inch Mold)
Oil (To Fry) best vegetable oil or canola oil
Dry Ingredients:
1 1/2 cup all purpose flour
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp baking powder
3 tbsp sugar
Wet Ingredients:
1 1/2 cup of milk
2 tbsp of unsalted butter (melted)
1 tbsp of vanilla extract
2 eggs
For Coating Buñuelos:
1 tbsp of Ground Cinnamon
1 cup of sugar

This looks bomb! 👌🏼 But wait, I’m such a beginner, I have so many questions! 🙋🏻♀️😂 Can I reuse the oil I cured the wand/mold with? Or is that oil now trash? Do I HAVE to cure the wand/mold the day before or is same day ok? Also, will the buñuelos de viento hold the miel to make the buñuelos de miel? I really hope you see this, I’d love to make these for New Years! Thank you!!! ☺️

Hello Monakowskii I know a few people that actually do reuse that same oil. My personal opinion I trash it because we did cured a iron mold so we don’t want to eat that. I cured it a night before leaving it sitting in the oil. Then just wiped it. You can cure same day just make sure to leave in oil for 2 hours after you turn it off. You can drizzle or dip in Caramel,Lechera, chocolate, or honey I don’t recommend soaking these in Miel de piloncillo. i do have a video on how to make the flat buñuelos with piloncillo You can find it in our playlist under holiday favorites. My batter isn't sticking. I start off well about half way through it stops sticking. Yes mold is hot
Good job on the video, very informative and helpful! Does it overwhelm the cookie if you put a bunch more cinamon in the sugar? I do like a lot of flavor. Or do you need to stay a little subtle on the sugar topping of the cookie?
Is the the same thing as Buenulos I have seen called "Estilo Jalisco" ?
