Have you felt a positive feeling of grounding? 🦶🏻 🔌 🌍
The feeling of grounding is unlike any other. Love ur work keep it up.
Thank you for watching and sharing your experience 🙏🏻 where is your favourite place to incorporate grounding 🦶🏻 🌍

lol @ " no overcomplicated production line" with an SLS printer making the soles. SLS is way more complicated than traditional production lines and requires constant human intervention and produces more waste. FDM or gtfo.
How was the comfort during loose, rocky terrain ?
Ive got the rx5. And yeah it simply doesnt shave as close as a razor...it does work better when head is wet with shaving gel than using it dry...but its never gonna be as good a razor if your wanting a clean shaven head
I already had these in my cart. Then searched for a review. Swapped out the welcome 20% bonus for your bonus link. Nice video. Have a beer on me!
Absolute legend 🤩 hope they serve you well. Let me know what you think the they land. I'll be having a double espresso with your name on 👊☕️☕️
Their sizes VAP out at US 13. Why?? Big feet gang here. We need the room!!!! Back to vivo I guess
Thanks for watching. Big Feet 🦶❓ Don't worry, the next batch in should have EU 47 & 48. Would they fit? What barefoot shoes have you tried?
Would you wild swim here?
Would love to. I do do a show close buy . . . maybe I will head up earlier and have a swim :-) Thanks for sharing. Will be fresh in October.
😮❤❤❤
Incredible right 🤩🤸🏻 🌆
Interesting, I wish they had more variety. I might give it a try.
Hopefully more model variations in the future 🙏 Don't forget to grab a discount using the code in the description if you do decide to go ahead? Are you a barefoot convert fan? 🦶
@@OwenJackson Yes, sir. Got KSO Evo, which I use for trail running. Very minimalistic. Also, more budget Saguaro, mainly for walking around. 1 year since I started in barefoot shoes, still transitioning. Longest distance I've run is 10 km. Feel less pain in knees and hips.
great to hear your body is responsing well to the barefoot life and progressivly building the Km's 🙌
I tried it a couple of years ago, as always barefoot at home and love the feeling. Also had years of back pain. After listening to the Feel Better Live More podcast, heard that it might help my back, so gave Vivobarefoot Gobi IIIs a go. Loved the feeling, didn’t love the look. Gave up after a few months. Guess what I just ordered, two years later - Gobo IVs. Missed the feeling, and really conscious of increasing my foot strength/balance as I enter middle age. Would love to (slowly….) transition to BF running, and replace my Salomon trail shoes with Vivos. Step at a time though (see what I did there….). Great vids by the way - love seeing more Brit barefoot content. 🦶 🇬🇧
Appreciate your support and watching 🙏 That's awesome to hear about your journey with barefoot shoes. It's fascinating how changing footwear can have such a profound effect on back pain and overall well-being. I'm curious, what made you decide to give the Vivobarefoot shoes another try after two years? How do you plan to approach transitioning to barefoot running this time around? It sounds like a thoughtful and exciting step forward [pun intended] 😊
I like to start my day with Wim Hoff breathing, followed by the Five Tibetan Rites, CARS and then Animal Flow to get my body moving.
sounds like a powerful start to the day Rob 🙏 thanks for sharing 🌞
Beautiful cinematography. I've never seen a shoe review video of this quality.
Hey Mark, I really appreciate your kind words 🙏. There's more content and adventures to come! Are you a barefoot enthusiast, or do you simply enjoy admiring nature? 🍃🦶
It has been 1 year since I started my barefoot shoe journey and more recently I have begun focusing on foot health and foot strength. I have had to rewire my brain into changing how I view modern footwear and how most are incompatible with my feet. I have had some ups and downs with transitioning but I am now at a place where wearing barefoot shoes are most comfortable. The Lono Flows look quite nice and they seem to be at a good price point in the barefoot market. It is a shame the Flow green colour does not come in my size but the white or gray ones look good too.
That's fantastic to hear about your barefoot shoe journey and focus on foot health and strength. Transitioning to barefoot shoes can definitely be a worthwhile investment in time, it sounds like you've made great progress. The Lono Flows do offer a good option. How has your experience been with foot exercises or other practices to complement your barefoot shoe journey?
Hi Owen, what's your experience wearing vivos without socks? Are they breathable enough? (talking about leather models)
Thanks for watching. They offer some breathability, though not as much as a mesh or knitted shoe, obviously. I still found them pleasant when going sockless. Have you tried other barefoot shoe brands?
1:11 you can see the spot on the right where Westley fought Fezzik in the Princess Bride 🙂
Wow. I didn’t know that thanks for watching and sharing 🙏🏻
Thank you Owen, you’re a good man.
Thanks for watching Karen 😃 Are you a nasal breathing convert?
Please don't listen to this guy, this is not how anything works.
The science behind grounding is still in its early stages, and more rigorous, standardised testing on a larger scale is required for it to gain mainstream acceptance. However, initial research* suggests promising benefits, like decreased inflammation and pain, reduced stress, and improved sleep and circulation. * Oschman, J.L., Chevalier, G., & Brown, R. (2015). Grounding (earthing) effects on inflammation, immunity, wound healing, and chronic inflammatory/autoimmune diseases. Journal of Inflammation Research, 8, 83-96. [PMID: 25848315; PMCID: PMC4378297]
Would you wear these shoes? Do you incorporate grounding? 🦶🏻 🔌 🌍
Hi Owen, thanks for your videos, I’m looking a shoe for cycling, something than can provide some shelter if is raining, I’m in the north west.but also work for summer, Which model do you recommend
Thank you for watching. For versatile footwear, consider the Primus Trail All Weather shoes. They provide excellent grip on pedals and all-weather protection, making them ideal for various terrains. This flexibility is especially useful when packing space is limited.Check out the video here: kzread.info/dash/bejne/oX2b2dSshcaYhZc.html Let me know if you have any more questions! ✌️
Had mine for 14 years.
great to hear they're still going strong 💈🙌
It's really nice to see new brands pop up in the barefoot space providing different styles and pricepoints so more people can enjoy them. What i like about barefoot shoes is that they teach me what movement the body likes. I had a pretty big heelstrike, both while running and walking. Since getting my first pair i've started running with proper form and taking a bit shorter strides while walking to reduce the impact. Now i feel more active when walking and running and my knees, hips and back feel way better than they used to.
That's great to hear 😃 It's amazing how switching to barefoot shoes has had such a positive impact. What barefoot brands have you tried? Can you recommend any?
@@OwenJackson I've only tried Vivo, but my favourite from them so far would be the Decon, i don't think i've tripped due to slippy surface a single time with them, they're just so grippy. Would really recommend them!
Thanks for sharing 🙏🏻 I’m a big fan of the Tracker Decon too
I wonder how the biodegradability affects the durability of the shoe🤔
Hey Herman, I'm curious too. Listed on the website it says: *The biodegradability of the materials DOES NOT affect the lifespan of the shoes. Degradation only occurs when they are buried in landfill conditions.*
Amazing review, as always! Love the FLOW Green. Keep up the posting and sharing!!
Much appreciated Benji 🙏 The green looks great right. Are you a barefoot enthusiast too? 🦶
Good barefoot videos.
Thanks for watching Andres. Are you a barefoot fan? 🦶🏻
Yes. Maybe a bit too much😅. I have some Vivo barefoot, Be Lenka, muki shoes, Real foot and Wildlings.
Thanks for sharing 🙏🏻
thank you for this information and review! i need to try these!
thanks for watching Erick. I hop you get to try them too 😃 what colour would be your preference?
white then green then black then grey!
I wear barefoot shoes during more than 6 months, and I am very satisfied. Finally I feel naturally and nothing disturbes me during moving. We need to make barefoot lifestyle be more popular! 😊
That's awesome to hear Viola. Which barefoot shoe brands have you tried, and which models do you prefer?
@OwenJackson Winter shoes "Magical shoes", casual shoes Splay, Vibram Fivefingers (Alfa) and Luna Sandals (Flaco Oso). (Also I've tried the most popular model of Xero shoes, but I didn't like them because of the shape and materials.)
Did this analogy resonate? Let me know below 👇🏻
I love the design and the price tag, but when you closely look at their environmental claims, it seems totally made up.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts. I also find the design and price appealing ✅ What specific environmental claims do you find questionable? Please let me know your thoughts, it's always interesting to hear from the community 👍
@@OwenJackson There are a couple of red flags on their website: 1. The biodegradable materials they claim to use (GONETECH, GONEyarn, GONEfoam, GONEsole) do not appear to exist. A search on Google and Google Scholar yields no results. 2. The quality of graph 2b is poor and its sources are unknown. Who conducted these tests? How were they conducted? What exactly was tested? This might be an oversight on their part, but claims like these need to be better supported/more transparent.

I would love grey;-) Or the green🍏but I suppose these are sold out. Any chance they would come back? I am just starting with barefoot. Bought the whiteones and would love a combo. These shoes feel so good. I am jealous of your green ones! Great combo you're wearing 😊 Completed the form and all the other steps🎉
Hey Sonia, that's awesome to hear that you're getting into barefoot shoes 🦶 I know how amazing they can feel once you start wearing them. The grey or green ones sound like great options. Regarding stock, they keep quantities limited to minimise waste. So hopefully they'll come back into stock soon 😀 What do you like most about the barefoot experience so far? 😊
I have just literally got tyem so really at the start. I walk barefoot at home so I thought it'd be great to do that also outside. I also love the way they look and it matches my style. Let's see how I get on as I progress and keep wearing them.
Sadly, most sizes are sold out.
Hey Glenn. There should be a restock soon…. Batches are released in limited quantities to reduce waste, I believe. what would be your colour and preference?
Hey Owen, the cargo pants you're using go so well with these boots. What pants brand are they?
Hey Shannon, thanks for watching. The cargo pants are from NEXT in the UK. They're my favourite, but unfortunately, I don't think they make this model anymore ☹️ I hope you find something similar! 🙏
@@OwenJackson Appreciate the response bro!!
No worries 🤙🏻 let me know if you find anything
Thanks for the helpful review! I’m curious how you feel the waterproofing of the Magna Forest ESC compares to that of the Tracker II when treated with the “Renapur Leather Balsam”? In the care instructions it states that this “makes yours footwear waterproof”? I have worn the Tracker II’s for 1,5 years and LOVE them but their soles need repair and recently my shoes got completely soaked when walking through tall grass. I’ve had my eye on the Magna Forest ESC for a while but my only reservation is not knowing how well they withstand wet conditions. I will be going on a 2-week trekking and camping trip in Norway and would hope to keep my shoes as dry as possible (or failing that, opting for a shoe that dries reasonably well and fast since we will be camping). Sorry, I realise this question is rather specific but am curious if you have any thoughts based on your experience of both models? My husband has the Magna Lite’s and is completely happy, even though his shoes do get soaked when we’re out in wet conditions, due to the fast drying he does not mind. I run a little colder and am worried about the combination of wet shoes in a cold and windy climate…
Hey Thais, thanks for your question. Here's some thoughts: The Tracker II FG are listed as a waterproof boot: "Made using hydrophobic treatments, non-absorbent materials, sealed seams, and an inner breathable membrane to make them completely waterproof." If you love your Tracker II's, consider getting them resoled through re-vivo. This way, you can keep your boots and extend their life. I only have direct experience with the Tracker Forest ESC and not the Magna Forest ESC, and they've performed really well for me. They're described as "WATER RESISTANT, made from materials that are water resistant and non-absorbent." They've only allowed water ingress when I've been through deep bogs or streams where water breached over the top of the boot. Given that the Magna Forest ESC has an elasticated upper, consider the depth of grass, streams, and terrain you'll be exploring in Norway. Honestly, I don't think there is a bad choice. and with a 100 day returns policy, you can give them a good test and see if your choice matches your needs. All the best and let me know if i can help any further. Don't forget to grab a discount in the description if you do decide to grab a new pair. Happy barefoot adventures 🦶I look forward to visiting Norway someday 🇳🇴
@@OwenJacksonthank you so much for your thoughtful reply and great advice! I’ll definitely be sending my tracker II’s to revivo and will grab that code - thanks again! Happy hiking 🦶
Hi Owen, what's your recommendation for sizing? I usually use a 9.5 or 10 (US) on some branded shoes like Adidas. Do you recommend the same size or a notch higher or lower?
Thanks for watching! I went with my regular size. If you click the link and scroll down to the bottom of the page, you can cross-reference your shoe size with your foot measurements to ensure you get the best fit for your needs lonowear.com/?ref=owen 😃 Don't forget to use code OWEN to get a discount ✌️
@@OwenJackson super thank you, sir!
🫡 you’re very welcome
Those are some expensive beach shoes
I'm yet to try them at the beach 🏖️
I tried my best to breath from my nose when I run but why do people go to breathing out of there mouth naturally
Hey mate, it's always interesting watching people as they walk and run. Many breathe through their mouths habitually even before the demand requires them to do so. Breathing through the mouth also allows people with less CO2 tolerance to feel 'better' as they don't experience the uncomfortable CO2 accumulation. However, when possible, it's good to practice nasal breathing during lighter activities and while warming up. It can help improve overall breathing efficiency and keep your airways moist and filtered. You can see in the video that I'm wearing a nasal strip and that helps me prioritise nasal breathing as I build my threshold. Great job on trying to breathe through your nose! Have you noticed any differences in your performance or comfort when you focus on nasal breathing?
It would be great to win these shoes since my old primus lites are wearing down. I'd also like to try another brands unlike vivo, trying to look for something a bit wider. The black colour would fit my closet the best. GL everybody :P
Hy Marek, I totally understand the need for a wider fit, comfort makes all the difference. The black colour is a classic! Good luck to you 😃
Have you tried incorporating these in your runs? 🏃🏻💨
Hi Owen, Thank you for the review and for the discount code! :)
You’re very welcome Alejandro. Was it the grounding properties specifically that you were looking for? Are you a barefoot convert already? Happy barefoot adventures 🙏🏻👣🍃
thank you so much. These are my first vivobarefoot (gobi sneaker canvas). My first barefoot sneakers were saguaro shoes. I want to buy a second vivobarefoot that can be used for a little bit of everything. for everyday life and for going through the mountains. Would you recommend any specific model Owen? Thank you!
thanks for sharing. check out the Primus Trail for a great all-rounder: kzread.info/dash/bejne/oX2b2dSshcaYhZc.html
price is hilarious
I understand where you're coming from, the price can seem quite high at first glance. Vivobarefoot shoes do come with a premium price tag, but they invest a lot in their R&D, materials and ethical manufacturing processes, which can drive up costs. Plus, their focus on foot health and durability means these shoes often last much longer than cheaper alternatives. I can help with a discount code in the description but also understand they may not suit your needs. @@OwenJackson yes I already try them but after some hours, where my arch (top of my feet) it start to compress an be uncomfurtable and if I lace them up less tight, I feel my feet move too much when I do sport. I don’t know if there is really a solution for that

Thank you for the info. I've been trying to make a final discussion on which model to get. FYI To anyone interested in Vivobarefoot. They are in low stock for some of their shoes . I emailed them an received a quick response and this is their explanation "Sadly, I am unable to give you a date as to when we will be getting the items back into stock. We are awaiting more information from our product and design team as our deliveries have been seriously impacted by the Red Sea and Suarez Canal Crisis." Copied from their returned email. So if you're interested you might have to wait. I hope it's worth it. 😊
Thank you for sharing. Which model are you leaning towards getting?
Is the beard and baldness a requirement to wear barefoot shoes ????
Triple B: Bold, Bearded, and Barefoot Will you be joining the band? 🤙🏻 🦶🏻
The blade works very well in a Kimei clone as well, in my experience. Just don't try to use the taper, obviously. Zero-gapping is possible and I have done it but yeah, be careful. Tooth alignment is also very important, read the instructions since the teeth are so fine they really don't tolerate much misalignment.
I just bought this. Used it for the first time and Its everything I hoped for. However as I said it is my very first ever head shaver so I was wondering. Do you need to put a pressure on the head shaver to shave your head properly or just do several movements without any pressure? Thanks for any tips and pointers! <3
This shaver gives my neck VERY BAD razor burn. Even if I apply very little pressure it still burns like hell every time (used it 5-6 times). I don't recommend it, it's a total disappointment and a waste of money for me. Look into the Cut Buddy. The shave isn't as close, but no razor burns ever appeared from it. Wish I have seen this earlier.. 😃
