Here are some thoughts: The Primus Lite and the MOTUS Flex both have a combined sole and tread thickness of 4 mm, but they achieve this in different ways: Primus Lite: Tread Depth 2mm, Sole Base 2mm MOTUS Flex: Tread Depth 1.5mm, Sole Base 2.5mm My Primus Lite fit my feet like a glove and have clocked a lot of miles, so are currently my preference. The quick lace system on the Flex is a great feature, especially for running, so there's a certain degree of personal preference involved. It's a tough call, but my bias, especially on firm ground, would be the Primus Lite. However, more testing with the MOTUS Flex will reveal if it becomes my long-term choice. Hope that helps. Thank you for all your kind information, Owen 🙏🏻 Yes, I am a barefoot runner for a few years after wearing those high heeled unnatural Asics and Nike etc., I have tried the Vivo new Primus Trail, but not flexible enough for me, so usually wear Xero Speed Force, Chitra, and the best most flexible comfortable running shoe so far are my Tadeevo Bliss 🧡, I can run for miles in these, have you tried these ? So I was wondering how these 2 above Vivo's would feel, so I shall try as you say, the Primus Lite..

I own them both and I find the Motus more confortable for rocky or dirty terrain, since the outsole is 2.5mm instead of the 2mm outsole of the Primus Lite III (I was surprised but 0.5mm makes a huge diference!). I love the lace sistem for the Motus, my wife and I struggle a lot to properly tight the Prime that we both have. The only advantage that I can think of the Prime is that they have more stability from the fabric they use. Yhe Motus are like a sock with a sole. I don’t run on them but if I had to I would no doubt go for the Motus.

@@rosemarie9932 sorry, I mean Primus Lite III no knit with some sort of an inserted tongue, they have. Today I noticed (wearing one of each in each foot in a hike) that the Primus Lite III are a bit more breathable, but I still prefer my Motus Flex overall.

How would the MOTUS Flex fit your workout?

I've been enjoying a range of activities in mine, even light trail runs. What kind of athletic shoes do you prefer for your everyday tasks?
