I read somewhere that chlorinated/fluoridated water can have a negative effect on Kefir grains. Is this true?

I tried this and the probiotic powder just sit at the bottom, no bubble and the water still sweet. I dunno what’s wrong, the powder just didn’t want to mix with water. I use naturelo probiotics.

Thanks for sharing your very touching life story, Adrienna. Many have that dream of moving to the countryside as we have and there are so many benefits to ones mental and physical health though these don’t come without a lot of effort and learning the hard way, how nature works. Keep up the good work, your enthusiasm is infectious.

Not sure about the plastic bag given the fact that plastic also sheds micro particles - including microplastics.

Thank you so much! I just bottled some red cabbage kraut after two weeks fermentation. It went perfectly! The first attempt was a disaster because I didn’t have enough juice and the leaf I used went mouldy. This time I had bought glass weights and I also added some spring water. The ferment started the very next day. Thanks for the inspiration Im hoping it may even help my diverticulitis!

Wow! Great clear instructions! Thank you for that video! Is whole bread flour the same as unbleached bread flour? Unbleached bread flour does not exist in the brands I like to use. Only Whole Bread Flour (which is unbleached).

I know there is a chemical called PEEL... which is being sprayed on fruits and veggies in the stores. Be sure to only make these recipes from garden grown fruits and vegetables. Peel is a chemical dump Bill in the gate is having dumped in our food to preserve it

I’m just learning about fermentation and ordered the meter you said to use. Can you please do a demonstration on how to use it? I’m up in years and can’t figure it out. I’m not good at pushing buttons for those type of things. Thank you so much for your videos and blessings to your family.

Experimenting with maple syrup, dobs of 2 different coconut kefir, 2 types of "culturing" probiotic capsules, bread yeast and coconut milk without preservatives, top of the fridge, I've probably got the most powerful probiotic in my lifetime. It was bubbling. In a container, inside the fridge, it's almost explosive. Happy, happy gut. The john is a joy again.

Hi there and thank you so much!!! Good stuff to know. Just a tip for your honey - I noticed you were using a metal spoon….when honey comes into contact with metal it kills the good bacteria - always use wood, glass, or plastic with your honey!!! ❤

Redmond comes from Utah and not processed to keep the natural natural elements. Yours are available for the public. Authentic Himalayan salt: from Pakistan: touring available. Celtic sea salt: from France, harvested from shallow beds and tours available. Research and analysis: chloride, sodium, potassium, sulfur, calcium, iron, phosphorus, iodine, magnesium, zinc, copper, manganese: results vary. Links are in description. Microplastic: all found in these salts: some companies can clean their salt from microplastics. Watch her Fermentation video
