Hi ES, I’m a Swiss lady married to a Ghanaian. In 2000 we decided to move to Tamale and wasn’t able to stay due to financial difficulties. We returned in Europe and came back some years after to continue our projet. Not easy. Finally I returned to Geneva and my husband remains in Tamale as it’s never good to leave your properties on other hands there. I’ll be back by the end of 2024 for retirement in Tamale. I hope to have the chance to see you there as I admire your concept of life. We have a group on Facebook calling Tamale expats and with some of the members we’re used to have a Sunday meeting when we’re around to share our experiences in Ghana. It’s really helpful and can give you a breath. Wish you all the best and hope to have the chance to meet you one day.

If you ,an black american go to africa, and they ask uou why your in their country? Why you marry their men. Zay" millions of africans live in u.s. ,u.k. ,canada and countries like china and india.......looking for jobs without documents, collecting wellfare and assistance!!!! So i dont see why one or two " black " americans in africa is a problem. You are too timid. Look how bold illigal immigrants are in america!!!

Do you think it will be beneficial to travel to Accra maybe monthly to see your friends? Because I feel like you’re mostly working on the farm and leaving to a different environment once in while may help.

I understand the way you are feeling and I know you have to do what is best for you. I love my Hubby too. But I am really concerned about when he comes to the United States to live finally, where will we go from there. He’s a strong will man. But he does show compassion for me. He doesn’t like to see me cry or hurt. He’s from Western Africa. I pray we will succeed in our marriage. We have went through a lot for the last 7 years and we are still standing together. I want you to be strong and be happy in life. Much love ❤️ to you.❤🇺🇸

I anticipated that your marriage would encounter many challenges because the gentleman you married does not meet your standards. He is not well-educated, and in his part of the country, men are traditionally seen as the head of the household. Their culture and religion make it difficult for an educated American like you to adapt.

Blahaha…sorry to laugh. I knew Vin Man was going to after you! I remember the skit you guys did where you tried to leave and he ran down the cab and threatened to beat the guy. That man is not about to let you just up and leave! I had the visual of him knocking on the door and throwing you over his shoulder and carrying you away when you open it. Lol

I tried it. Trying to get some Africans to understand our History/ slavery/ racism is like to talking to a piece of bread or a WP. They are fiercely confident in who they are and i envy that. We are like confused adopted children searching for where we belong. The journey contines and is ongoing. For some Africa and for the many not!

Ghana's economy and general quality of live has gone down drastically day by day, year over year in the last 5 years. There's a general sense of hopelessness and regression. There's no leadership in Ghana now. Factor in cultural differences, living in the north, Marriage issues.......It can be a lot.

Well looks like FBA/Tariq is right, black Americans had an ethnogenesis and they are not African. I've been watching all the back to Africa youtubers since the pandemic, my conclusion is that 1) there is no money in Africa 2) the situation that led to the military defeat of the African and his enslavement are still there, those things being tribalism which leads to people willing to betray another tribe and lack of advanced weapons and financial systems . So when you move to Africa you are living with people that are economically and militarily broken and people that would sell you again if they could. On the other hand if you return to America you will get stuck in 9-5 hell. So I don't have a good advice for you lol. But I would remind you that there is plenty of land for sale in America including California. Another option is the Caribbean which also has a lot of land and a lot of melanin and a different culture than the us

You can homestead, grow your own food, raise livestock and own your land in the USA 🇺🇸. It will be yours legally because we have a functioning government. No malaria, less scamming, no green card tricks, no poison, no 3 or 4? Wives etc. Women have rights in the USA 🇺🇸. Come home!! These Africans are not our people.

United States corporation is gone. In 2019 it went bankrupt. United States does not exist here in America anymore. United States was NEVER LAND IT WAS A BUSINESS. ABORIGINAL AMERICANS allowed them to come into America. This is when we were Colonized by them until 2019. We are in the process of taking back over our land. I'll stop here. If you feel that you would like to research from the prospective that I mentioned, please do. If you don't care about those issues , It is ok. 💚💚💚💜💜💜🪶LOVE HERE IN AMERICA, the soil is me. PEACE BE WITH YOU!

LOVE, RESEARCH, RESEARCH INFORMATION, LOVE I AM a ("black") Indigenous/Aboriginal American Indian. Our family have many farms/land. But, I will say the one in Tennessee is over 400 years old. We have paperwork. No one in my family has ever been a slave. Although we know some "black" people were. Also, "white" people were as well (some). 💚💚💚💜💜💜🪶LOVE

I'm from California. Born in LA, grew up in Palmdale/Lancaster area. But LA was my spot, mainly because all my family is still there, most of them. But I loved going to Lemert Park. So many festivities, and food, and people, and culture all in one are with us! Come on back. If not Cali, Vegas bound okay. The car chases everyday, all day, along with street take overs will be waiting. Oh, and the smash and grab up and down the coast.

Monkey Du is really growing up. You look elegant but comfortable. That's your color. You have a great grasp on the horticulture around you. I love the compound. It's so neat and organized. I love the circular pathway of stone, because it helps keep the dirt and mud out of the house. The rabbit is bigger than Monkey Du 😂😂. This was a great activity, showing how to repurpose the resources around you ( egg shells and bamboo). I didn't know egg shells had to be dried. I guess because when composting they can remain the same until they break down in the mix. You got a lot done in this video. I love trips to town.

So comforting, to hear and see such a healthy dialogue. The community is beautiful. I often miss the Lives, however the realness is needed on the youtube platform. Highs and lows, happy and sad days. Love and frustration, all part of this beautiful human experience. The riches of this life, allow us to explore our emotions, our realities, no matter what the circumstances. To reflect with love and appreciation for ourselves and others, who also contribute to that richness. This was so beautiful to watch. Thank you. 💫🤗💫
