My grandma would not allow me to use her washing machine for a pieces. She had an old fashioned scrub board and she showed me how to wash by hand. She said you never know what life has in store.

Hand Washing That’s what we do growing up in Jamaica Even now some still do Most Jamaicans in Foreign Countries Do not put their Underwear in the Laundry Basket They wash it in the Shower and hang it up in the Bathroom When Jamaicans is washing white Clothes the will SoK it with Bleach and Soap Wash them then spread them on Plastic or Zinc in the sun They wet them every day and then the wash them by hand and hang them on the line or in a Machine Lol I don’t do that now since living in ISA

ES washing triggered memories that I had forgotten. The essence of mother and ladies as they did the family washing down at the rivers edge. A very lively social gathering full of activity. The ponding sounds of clothing against lava rocks and rising and fall of whispers blending with currents as they take its secrets away. My white shirt again brightly ready for Sunday next. Never safer a feeling to be in the company of the women. I guess I was always mama's boy 🙏 🔥 ❤

Are those honey bees? I heard a saying that if all the honey bees die the world would end. This most likely because we will still have grass...but pollination of flowers and nourishing plant life would be disrupted. Are you folks possibly bee charmers and up to raising honey bee colonies? Also might be a good source of some income; if the honey production is descent. Just curious.
