This video is a great example of why you should watch a series if you're interested instead of someone's review. Because even if the show is bad, the reviewer might throw in so much opinion that the synopsis becomes incorrect.
I have also seen the entire show and would like to counter certain points. Link does not constantly gaslight Zelda. In fact she usually refuses to believe that Link has done anything unless it happens to affect her. Next, while Link's behavior is obnoxiously flirtatious, it's revealed in the show that Zelda actually likes Link as well which is why she tolerates his antics.
Who remembers watching this guy like Crack and then never seeing him again?

My theory is that he’s a projection of Majora tasked with the mission of recovering the mask from its confinement in the Stone Temple and free Majora. I believe Majora is waiting for a powerful enough host so the salesman keeps following Link and observing him in Ocarina of Time. However the mask gets stolen by Skull Kid and now the salesman has to task Link to get it back. Here’s the twist: Despite being a projection of Majora, the salesman still seems to have some agency of his own, pretty much like Maria in Silent Hill 2. After Majora is destroyed, the salesman does not seem to die and, despite being disappointed in “evil leaving the mask”, he just walks away with it. Majora is being trapped inside the mask and so it’s not in full power - he is after all being controlled by skull kid and trying to have the salesman and Link working together to recover the mask, so it wouldn’t be a surprised it cannot fully control its own projection. The salesman has autonomy, intelligence and agency beyond being drawn to collecting masks and perhaps unconsciously “programmed” to either free Majora or for it to use Link as host

Having the wigglers form into flutters also makes sense since 🐛 become 🦋 after forming a cocoon. I've always loved caterpillars. Always hungry and wanting to find food so that they can grow, evolve and reproduce catterlings (that's what I call Baby Caterpillars) into our world.

I'm not sure if this will help any, but waaaaaay back in the day when they first announced the Super Mario Bros. Super Show and the super special weekly Zelda segment they mentioned that the dynamic between Link and Zelda (and probably much or all of the humor) would be similar to the will they/won't they relationship the main characters of Moonlighting (A very popular show at the time) had. If you picture Link's terrible catchphrase, gropey attitude and bad jokes coming out of 1980s Bruce Willis you can kind of see it.

Credit to “the bread pirate” for this but actually adding a wing to a boomerang gives you only 13 throws before it desponds (the wing) and a Keese wing is MUCH better to use.😊
I think it's safe to say the Shroobs are done. If you look at the 3ds remake of Bowser's inside story, during the battle with the shroobs, you can see not only the elder shroob princess, but also the regular shroob princess next to her. Does that mean that Bowser got all of them frozen? Will he ever release them? If so, will they even obey him? And what will become of the mushroom kingdom if they were to ever be released?
The old Mario where much better, the new ones are also nice, but Mario 1,2 till 3 where the best.❤

I mostly agree with your idea of the future of Zelda. The open world isn't really a problem, but it's way too big for it's own good. Tears even had the depths which, while really cool to look at and first experience, is absolutely pointless. Even KingK's full retrospective of BotW was an hour of "maybe the world shouldn't be so big". Honesty I kinda think the series would be best if they made it unlockable areas much like it used to be rather than just one open world map. Just make each area a bit more open and maybe more connected than they used to be with only one path between them. Perhaps make it more like as if the world was split into barriers similar to the Twilight cutting off parts of the world. Linear dungeons was always better though. I do think it really cheapens the value if every puzzle has 10 solutions, I mean at that point is it a puzzle anymore? And dungeons no longer being linear means that you don't get the satisfaction of whittlings away at it or seeing new rooms as you progress. It adds the feeling that you're actually achieving something. But story don't fully agree. I do kinda prefer Zelda having a stronger story, though I also don't think BotW nor Tears really had much of one. Both of them had pretty weak stories that mostly just revolved around background lore rather than actual story. Realistically the only story we get is the happenings of the regions, the whole "secret stone" cutscene, and secret stones turn people into dragons.
