I think the reason for the balloon that holds your power up not being able to bust by enemies is because of the online multiplayer aspect. The balloons are one of the few things that all players in the level can interact with, as this allows 1 player to gave a power up to another online, however because all players online in the same level start the stage at different times it means all real time events and mechanics for each individual player will not be in sync like enemies, moving platforms, rising lava etc… so if you put a balloon into the level it will appear to the other players in real time but if you placed it beside an enemy, the point at which the enemy hits the balloon would not be the same on top of that an enemy killed in your own stage doesn’t kill the same enemy for the others so with those 2 things it just makes sense for enemies to not be able to interact with balloons.

0:36, 0:56 *Wonder Flower 3:55 I had no idea Captain Toad was also hidden there! I 100% completed the game two days after its release and had no idea Captain Toad was hiding in a fourth place as it doesn't count toward 100% completion. I only found him in one other location in Pipe-Rock Plateau, accessed by completing the course's secret exit, and two places in Sunbaked Desert. This makes me wonder if there's even more. Edit: There is another Captain Toad location. It's also located in Pipe-Rock Plateau, even though this is the third one so far to be there. I don't know why they couldn't be more spread out between worlds.

If you go back to the start of the Wonder Flower effect in one of the specials, (I think it’s the W3 special) and go on top of the pipe back at the start, you will find not 1, not 2, but 3 1-UPS in invisible blocks!

Using Parachute Cap or Grapple Vine allows you to wall jump INFINITELY. With Parachute Cap you just jump off, face the wall and hold R back. Grapple Vine is mostly the same except you press R instead of hold. This can also be used to go up downwards sliding walls.

Myth: In the very first level of the game there's a secret area you can only access with the add ! badge

something to note, that's not the Wonder Seed on the first one, it's the Wonder Flower. the Wonder Seed turns the level back to normal hope that helps 👍

So the thing that makes you see weird things or makes you random enemies or object is called the "Wonder Flower", not the " Wonder Seed". Also the "Wonder Seed" is what makes you stop seeing things or being stuff. Edit: Please if you spot any spelling or grammar mistakes please tell it in the replies section because I'm Vietnamese. The enemies not interacting with your power ups is intentional not an after thought. Just like it's intentional that we can't interact online

there are rumours that a 3d mario game is in the works, and is planned to be released for nintendo's next console, im not sure that it will be odyssey 2, but you can hope!

For the parachute cap, peach and daisy will actually hold the items or shells ontop of their dress because its more lady-like

you can actually jump past the flagpole in the levels with the massive flags, there is also 2 levels where the flag gets destroyed, not 1

I got 2 tidbits for wonder: You can basically fly with the bubble power by running at full speed, blowing a bubble, jumping on said bubble, and blowing a new bubble right before bouncing. And you can't beat a shova while holding a shell etc in your hands (even in elephant form).

If you touch a flagpole from the other side the same thing happens a usual, so sad. You can do this in A Final Uncharted Area: Poison Ruins.

Mario Wonder Myth: can multiple players ground pounding at once cause a POW block effect like in past games? (Probably test this with some pals in different forms like small, super and elephant)

I found Captain quite a few times and I didn't use a guide. 12:53 Yeah I know all of this sounds a bit morbid >:D! I thought Mario had super human strength. I guess that enemy had super strength too.

7:11 Fun Fact: In certain level you actually CAN jump over it

A myth for you: In the level "Condarts Away" in the Fluff Puff Peaks, if you obtain the bubble power up, get to the area just after you get the mini flag after climbing the stairs, defeat the Condart, break 3 blocks of 7, toss a koopa shell up onto the top of the top right one and kick the shell into the wall you can get infinite 1 UPS. Very difficult to explain and I sure there's a video somewhere that explains it because it works really well and I was suprised when finding it.

In the level Rolling-ball haul just after the checkpoint, there’s a pit u fall into with 2 stone blocks to the left. If you hit the nearby ball into them with the elephant power up, it will break the blocks so you can get there without getting the wonder flower first. If you do this, there will be some talking flowers there that will tell you off for doing this

There is a special animation when you crouch jump using the floating high jump badge.

I figured out you can get infinite height in a level if you keeping jumping and shooting bubbles with the jet run badge and the bubble flower

There are a few more flags you can jump over

I think the maw maws don't eat each other because it would be like cannibalism. (-_-)

There’s actually two in dragon boneyard you can get past the goal by before you go in the pipe with the dragon if you jump and do a bit of parkour you can get to the end

I wish that there was a level with lots of berries and elephant Mario could eat the berries to grow bigger and fatter

I feel like the bird doesn't pop the bubbles for high level gameplay reasons, if you're platforming across bubbles and a bird pops them you'd be so frustrated
