  To think we could've had a version of Shaun that looked manly 😂 American cartoons of the 80's and 90's were super cheesy but I can see this and the Sailor Moon attempt actually working as full shows. Could've been fun to watch

  Fun fact: There was also a couple spinoffs of the series, like Bean Bag Tag, which even feature exclusive sprites like run cycle animations and even sprites for Weasel, Ed and Eddy. They're on Flashpoint along with the main series.

  It's pretty rare to find live action, hand drawn animation, and CGI all in the same production, especially one of this age. The CGI transformation isn't even bad by early 90s standards, even without considering that this is basically ashcan.

  This is a proof of concept, so no money was given to them by bandai to create this pitch, it was only requested they come up with a concept. On a higher budget im sure they would have been able to make something pretty interesting with it, and it could have likely aired alongside the animated sailor moon, so its good to keep that in mind haba

  Just now by comparing Moon Densetsu with these 2 themes, I noticed that there's some Spanish flamenco inspiration for the song, which are much more overt in the other 2 songs... How curious

  Funnily enough, Sailor Moon Crystal has songs that are suspiciously similar to other songs. Moon Pride is extremely similar to Mitaiken HORIZON by Aqours and Eternal Eternity is extremely similar to KIZUNA from Mermaid Melody.

  Está bien bizarra esta serie y estaban re duros los personajes, como siempre las adaptaciones parece que son muy "reduccionistas" a comparación de la obra original, por ejemplo en el manga y el anime de Saint Seiya Aldebarán de Tauro no era malvado pero en ésta serie el portador de la armadura (al que decidí llamar "Abderramán el Otario") solo es un matón genérico del villano principal, tremendo downgrade les hacen a los personajes los yanquis con sus malas adaptaciones, aunque estaba algo interesante la historia honestamente

  I just discovered your channel! You do some amazing work! I'm a huge Saint Saiya fan! I've seen everything of Saint Saiya only from the original Japanese source material! I heard rumors that there was an American animated adapted version of the series in the works but, I did not take it seriously. I never cared much for the Knights of the Zodiac English dub, or the recently released Netflix series and the live action movie. After watching the pilot episode of Guardians of the Cosmos, I'm relieved that the series was not green lit. Saint Seiya is one of those anime series that can't be matched by any reboot, rewrite, or reimagined in any way shape or form! It has to be experienced in its original Japanese animated format uncensored and unedited with no English voiceover. (in my opinion) It's just that damn good! :)
