Questions for Luke. What will Redbox do with their DVDs when they go under? Is a buy out more likely or will they declare bankruptcy and fold? I'd be happy to expand my DVD/Ultra 4K collection if I could do so for pennies on the dollar.

Yes, you can connect more than one remote to your Roku player or TV.
When I cut the cord about a year and a half ago, they offered me a Comcast/Xfinity flex box. So far, I like it! I know there are other streaming players out there. I do get free content now and then when Comcast offers a week free here and there. My plan is to return the flex box the instant they ever want a dollar for it. Also, I have a fire stick. I hardly ever use it. What do you think of the flex box?

I pray that Paramount Studios doesn't get sold off because it will likely ended being another housing project and Hollywood will lose another iconic property. Currently, the iconic Sportsman's Lodge restaurant hotel where many Hollywood stars used to congregate is becoming a housing project. Housing is important but not to sacrifice iconic, historical sites. Guess, Red Box is throwing in the towel.
I’ve been watching that closely as well. It’s such an iconic American studio and brand. BRANDS. Its library is full of YEARS of classics and hits spanning decades. I don’t want to see it become like Sony or MGM. At the very least, if it gets sold off.. I hope the new owners keep a lot of it together and keep the studio and production company in business…. I guess it wouldn’t be terrible to see CBS and Viacom separated. It would drop much of the cable channels but that isn’t what made paramount pictures what it is anyway. That’s all modern more recent transactions unifying the two. Cable channels are just loosing branding and reach anyway. They’re becoming offerings in FAST TV. CBS and Paramount Pictures prob stronger without the rest. I guess the biggest hope is to see paramount still making big budget films for years to come and cbs to maintain its network domination

Idk why they're adding TVshow specific channels.... TWD channel and not portlandia channel... That's ridiculous... If I wanted that I'd watch Pluto TV... Who watches these channels? They should have added MeTv

Just another reason to raise prices again. I got rid of all streaming except for Prime. If i need to watch tv ill watch something on Primes live tv section. All these high prices to have nothing to watch. Bring back Blockbuster so i can rent or buy movies. Physical copies. Not this streaming BS.

As if there aren't enough of the same ads on other streaming services. I've seen them at least 40 times already and could care less. And for Roku to put them on the home screan is really stupid to me and i hate it.
KZread already has a Sleep Timer. Has anyone else experienced the dreaded "Are you still listening... " And press OK to continue??
I would have preferred Comcast to wait until Amazon came out to see what the better option would have been cost and experience wise.🤷🏽♀️
The reason Comcast went with Starlink is simple. It will take many years for Amazon to get their satellites launched at sufficient numbers to have a robust enough network in place. Starlink has what no one else has and that is a very effective manufacturing and space launch system.
Question for Luke, You never talk about Tivo 4KStream. What do you think of it? Have you used it? I find I really like it and it works well. Also, my Redbox machine near me has me DOA for several weeks. I still enjoy DVD's and the price to rent is good. But, I think the writing is on the wall.
Heard you say after Fire TV lost connection that Roku doesn’t do that- oh yes it does! I quite often get low power notice saying USB port doesn’t provide enough power when Roku is connected to AC power; I also get a screen saying all HDMI ports must be 2.1 in order for this channel to work when nothing has changed. I can see that you are getting better day by day and great at what you do!
BET needs to go back to it's original purpose and that's why Byran Allen or Tyler Perry would be better for it from my experience growing up watching it. It was more centered around the better things in our culture. Paramount needs to make up their damn mind. It doesn't seem like any offer is good for them.😒

Roku's system is easy and stable. I tried Fire TV's which had many problems and slow.

Channels like betv need to be shut down all they do is promote culturalism and segregation and cater only to the Black culture we were all One race under God we need to start acting that way
Apparently being a talking head/script reader is harder then one thinks.
I know for a fact that this is the case - we routinely have to "make videos" in my job and it's some of the toughest stuff I have to do - the "one take" and no edits tells me that he's pretty darn good - he'll smooth out the rough edges.

Yeah, they're supposed to be putting a few up early next year after doing some beta testing with satellites they put up eariler this year.
Either does Musk with Starlink, Dish Network or SiriusXM. It's always been a big lie. You are connecting to ground stations with signals being bounced off the ionosphere. How do you think Grandpa with his shortwave radio was picking up Poland before there were satellites.

They still have some good shows that are about "history". But, yeah, some of their shows like that drilling on Oak island, pickers, ancient aliens, etc. are junk.

I have 1 Redbox in my town, & whenever I pass it they rarely show any new titles on the markee worth renting out of it, & the interface is so laggy it's frustrating to use, & a lot of time the dang credit card reader doesn't work, so I'm not surprised Red Box is doing as bad as they are, so you can't simply blame this on O people just aren't renting DVD/Blu-Ray, as I seriously would if it was worth my time using!!! Far as buying DVD/Blu-Ray I still do by them from time to time, when I feel it's a big movie, or series actually worth owning, and watching more than once!!

I'm surprised Red Box is still out there. Blockbuster is in the dustbin of history and Redbox is heading towards that way. We can stream everything. DVD are passe.
Unless you cannot get higher speeds from your ISP or actually want to OWN certain content - if you've ever looked to watch something that WAS on a given service only to find out it's been dropped from their catalog then you'll start to understand. For convenience a home media server might be the best of all worlds.

My Cousin have Fubo TV, only because of Detroit Tigers. If wasn't for the Detroit Tigers, then they would have KZreadTV.
KZread TV needs to bring back the regional sports networks it would be great if KZread TV had the regional sports networks as an optional add on for additional $5.00 to $10.00 a month.

Spectrum must have a chimpanzee in charge ... When I had to call spectrum I was always able to get a live person almost right away and they usually we're able to solve the problem... It was working but somebody had to go in there and screw it up.
