Our training style might or will be different from other OSCE facilitators but we all share the same concept of basing everything by NMC Code and the OSCE marking criteria.

Loud background music
Thank you very much! your videos helped me a lot. I repeatedly watched this scenario (whole APIE) and master the details. I pass my OSCE today.
Jerose
Do we actually wait for 40 seconds for Ph strip?
Thank you for this video
You have forgotten to say 6 rights of medication
6 right were done in the video when I asked for the patient’s name/DOB/allergy + drug + dose + route of administration + frequency of meds to give +/- diluent is needed.
Please I need you to coach me for OSCE.Is it possible?
When is your OSCE?
Just a question about the equipment on the osce exam day - is this usually all laid out for you like you have in the videos or are they in boxes/ trays and we need to look for them? Worried about timing.
You will have a trolley with different drawers and you will get your materials from there. Some prepare it for you already but on some occasion you may have to prepare your own so it’s wise to know what materials you need for each station.
Please is it necessary to wear gloves and apron?
In our training, we teach our nurses yo always wear PPE when administering medication such as Oxygen for patient’s safety.
Hi what lubricant do you use as I struggle to be able to pass the tube through
You will use warm water at the test centre. They don’t use jelly to slide the tube in.
Good one
Thanks
Hi! In actual exam, do we really have to remove the blunt needle using hands? Thanks so much
Yes, because you can’t recap and you’ll br twisting to remove it holding the bottom end/circle and not the needle itself.
Thank you po!
Welcome!!
As per my Knowledge does't need Id check. But you are did 2 Id check which is not mandatory at all. If you do that you are not able to complete the procedure with in 8min. Few things which make procedure complex. Arrange orange bag Put underpad not mandatory And I wonder we don't need inspection of catheter site and catheter site for infection? How ever I like you Advise the patients before the procedure which is really good approach which is i didn't see in other videos. How ever thank you for creating this videos.
You can always follow the steps you’re comfortable with in whatever station. As mentioned in all our video description, our training videos differ with other training videos but we all share a commonality which is the patient’s safety.
I have poor eyesight and I need my glasses. Can I be able to wear my glasses behind the googles? thank you.
Yes you can.
Haha she said allergy to latex and you using gloves, gloves are with latex
In the video, the acting nurse acknowledged that she’s allergic to latex and will not use allergy containing materials. In case you’re not aware, there are latex-free gloves and that’s the one the nurse used.
If it is in a hospital setting, do you need to do second id check?
All medication administration station, you always have to do 2nd ID check.
What time should be written for delayed medicine?
Choose from numerical codes 1-10 that suits best your scenario.
Too much details
You can always perform this station as how you like and see fit but thank you for watching my video.
Do you have a training course for Osce please, and is the on-site training cloe to Londonderry
Hi. I’m afraid we’re too far out from Londonberry.
Thank you po maam😊
Please which part went in first The pointed end or the blunt end
The pointy end goes in first.
Thank you
Hi Audrey, which is best to follow after dipping urine into the container? Removed gloves then hand hygiene or removed gloves then hand hygiene then wear new gloves? Other just removes one gloves for writing? Which is which? thank you
After dipping the stick, put it on a piece of tissue/kidney basin whichever is provided. Then remove your gloves > HH. After, read and document the result. Then, HH again Nd wear gloves to dispose the strip and tissue/kidney basin.
Thank You Po Maam Audrey for all your videos
Thank you so much, I think she did justice to it , if she should be fast and finish at the exact time, we might not learn the procedure. ❤
Pls avoid or atleast reduce the background music. It’s almost overshadowing your voice.
Superb
Namotivate ako mag review dito.
The best A-E assessment I ever watched.
Great video thanks
May i ask that so the charts are either GCSor NEWS2, how about in community scenario? And also do we have to bring our own pen light and watch? Thank you, love the videos.
It’s EITHER NEWS2 OR GCS - never both. For community, usually NEWS2 chart but it doesn’t matter because it will always be either or. As long as you know how to use all charts, you should be fine.
Please what do they mean by maintaining vacum during sunctioning?
Meaning your thumb should still be covering the valve from the suction catheter as you are suctioning.
what do you call this type of station? history taking and observations?
Assessment Station.
Your video is good but kindly remove the background music.
Perfect thanks
I need help fall and fracture Preoperative patient evaluation
What help?
its always good to ask the patient to wiggle her stockinged toes shoes removed to distract her.
Do we actually administer the injection during OSCE?
Yes, on a manikin or training limb.
Is it true with the latest exam, that we need to hand hygiene then change gloves after dipping the strips?
U didn't change gloves when applying new dressing. Still used noth gloves to apply née dressing and touched the cloth of the dummy.. Where's the hygiene maintenance 😕
Tnks Dear
It's looks, you going run of your time,
