Our training style might or will be different from other OSCE facilitators but we all share the same concept of basing everything by NMC Code and the OSCE marking criteria.

May i ask that so the charts are either GCSor NEWS2, how about in community scenario? And also do we have to bring our own pen light and watch? Thank you, love the videos.

It’s EITHER NEWS2 OR GCS - never both. For community, usually NEWS2 chart but it doesn’t matter because it will always be either or. As long as you know how to use all charts, you should be fine.

It will EITHER GCS OR NEWS2, not both forms.

On your OSCE, you will have either a live patient or manikin. If it's live actor, then you will have to do your pupil assessment to your live actor and whatever you get from when you do the assessment, that's the reading. IF you have a manikin, you are still expected to show the assessor how to do the pupil assessment to the manikin and they will usually give you the pupil size/reaction.

Hi. I think, Yes. Not necessarily in order but the most important thing is that, you included all the marking criterias in your scenario.

Yes, the ones shown in the video is one of many ways you can do Assessment Station. Find what works best for you.

When is your OSCE?
It's a good presentation but I don't think you can finish all that assessment within the given time in the exams.

I just passed my OSCE exam yesterday because of this presentation. I followed everything from the beginning till the end...
Good presentation but the time wasn't manage well. More than the 20min allocated to the station

is 30 mins the new time for osce assessment?

Assessment is 20 minutes. There is a disclaimer at the start of this video as to why it lasted longer than 20 minutes.
