You are right there, New Zealand just keeps delivery. So many roads and tracks, I have barely scratched the surface, there are a lot more fun challenging single racks that would be perfect for a light weight off road bike. If you can get to New Zealand it is definitely worth the effort
@notso2774 сағат бұрын
Another great series Joe 👍 I guess I will have to start watching the NZ ones next ... 😂 BTW have you looked at the new model yet, I guess the extra horses would be nice but what you do with the 411 is probably all you need. There was only that one hill that you couldn't get up with all the gear on. And the big single sounds good. Bonus, at least you can carry an extra 10 lts of fuel, I don't think you can on the newer model. Happy travels and keep up the good videos ... Stay safe.

Question: When you camp out, where do you go to do your "morning business" (for the lack of a better term). I would hate to go in the wilderness... That's my biggest issue with camping.
@freewayproject7 сағат бұрын
If you do enough of these trips for long periods of time, it is inevitable, that's why in the Australia series I have a little shovel to dig a hole. But in New Zealand I didn't have to, there are a few things that can help. Firstly you need to treat it like filling up your bike with fuel, taking opportunities when they arise, there are some camping sites that have toilets, gas station, shops etc.. Secondly if you have watch any of the series, I don't eat a lot while traveling on the road, I may only have one small meal a day, like a tin of tuna and a piece of fruit, and only drinking water, this stop the need to find a toilet in the first place, so you may not need to find one for several days and normally with in that time you come across them if you are constantly riding everyday. As a bonus for me I normally lose weight on these trips so it's a win win.

@freewayproject8 сағат бұрын
It's not the police but the Australian Border Force. It to do with farming and stopping the spread of things like fruit flies and other stuff getting into Western Australia, the same happens into Tasmania and well if you fly into Australia they are there as well to try and stop pest and disease getting into the agriculture sector.

3:39 what does this sign mean in nz?
@freewayproject10 сағат бұрын
The sign with a silhouette image of a small person then a large person is a caution sign that there could be people and children crossing the road ahead. There were a few tight turns ahead and treelined, there might have been a camping site on the left and the lake on the right so common for people to cross the road on foot.

thanks mate, great to hear you enjoyed the episode.
Some great morning light in the mountains. Good to see some places off the beaten track. Love the area around the Banks Peninsula & Akaroa. Thanks for taking us along.
Yes it was beautiful, again New Zealand delivery more stunning scenery, yes there are so many places to explore, I'll definitely have to come back.
Thanks for taking us on the ride Joe...magic scenery and filming
Great to hear you enjoyed it Mark. New Zealand just keeps delivering stunning scenery everywhere I go.
See? I spoke about the (lack of decent) food while travelling before. Dylan is more my kind of nourishment-type 😉
Haha, I should bump into a Dylan ever few days then to keep the nourishment up. I hope you enjoyed the episode, thanks for watching.
Hi joe, I’m new in your channel and this is the first video I came across. Now you became my inspiration for an adventure trip like this man. Ride safe. Hope to see more of your adventures ❤️ Regards from Bangladesh 🇧🇩
It is great to hear you enjoyed the episodes from the New Zealand trip. There are 46 episode from riding around Australia on the channel if you are interested. I hope you get to go exploring soon. What is the riding like in Bangladesh?
In the cities it can get really crowded and dense traffic except holidays as it is pretty small country compared to huge population. But then there are these hill tracts where riding experience is outstanding. You are coridially invited here man. 🤍
@@MdSifat_ Thanks for the information mate, I ma sure to be up in the region soon and probably a few times, so I'll do some research and come back to you with some questions if that is okay in the future.. Thanks again

I'm a long time motorcyclist and I've spent 30 plus years in television production.I congratulate you on the effort and standard you've produced. I can appreciate what it's taken to shoot such a variety of shots with multi camera's. You're a gutsy buggar. Great edit you've held me for thirteen episodes.
Thanks mate, it is great to hear you are enjoying the series. I enjoy the exploring on the bike, the filming and editing even thought it takes me a while (I don't think I could do it if I didn't) . If you ever get bored there are 46 episodes of me riding around Australia on the channel as well.
❤
it's great to know you enjoyed the episode again.
Very cool tripping about Joe!👍 Especially liking the stunning photos at the ends of your episodes. I would hate to think people are cutting out too soon and missing these gems! Kia kaha!
Thanks mate, it has been an amazing journey so far. It's great to hear you are enjoying it. Well I think of the photos as a bonus for the people who watch until the end 😁
Absolutely stunning landscapes and fantastic photography Joe, can I ask what time of year this was ?
Yes New Zealand just keeps delivering amazing places. It was April.
Bro you’re content inspired me to keep riding, I recently lost some confidence riding in sand but I remembered your videos so I came back to watch a few over the last couple days and I’m excited about riding again! I can’t wait to get home and go for a ride!
That's great to hear. I struggle in sand too, apparently it all about spending time in it to get better, I don't have easy access to it so for now I still have to paddle my way through it if I come across it. Have fun out there.
