  You don't even have to rubber band it. Just comb wet hair evenly together on each side and hold it with one hand and cut evenly with the other. It comes out nice!

  I just love how simple this haircut is, thank you for sharing it with us. I just wonder if there's any reason why you tied the unicor ponytail almost in the middle of your head... because normally we see people bringing it to their foreheads ... did you think there will be any difference with these placements?

  in seattle we have a creative reuse center called seattle recreative where you could find syringes. also if you need a drill there’s a community tool library in capitol hill. I think everyone should have these

  This is just a brilliant way! I tried several techniques, I made ponytails, divided into parts, etc. It's simple and looks great! thank you ☺️❤ PS. I would only change the name: the Renaissance technique/ the Lady with an Ermine technique. The lady with an Ermine is a painting by Leonardo da Vinci. Just look at her hairstyle... 😊

  Beard Haircut Technique 🧔🏻✂️ ends up being a gentle V-shape haircut 3:40 results. I like that it's simple one step! But may be too angled for my Bob.❓

  I don’t get my hair cut very often as I find it hard to make the time with three young children and the thought of cutting it myself terrified me! However I decided to check KZread to see how people do it and this is the first video I watched. She did such an amazing job and made it look so simple I decided to give it a try and wow was it ever easy and didn’t take much time at all!! Thank you so much for posting this video and I loved your whole attitude towards cutting hair - why make it complicated!

  I've done this cut for a few years now. Last week, I did the unicorn cut and followed it with this cut to take off the bottom half inch or so - the unicorn is very feathery/layered & this "beard" cut made the end nice and neat. I just cut it blunt, no cutting in to soften the edge. My hair is 2A, wavy and fine, so it only looks right with a blunt edge.

  LOL I commented before finishing the video - you did this in reverse! Also I think what you're doing is the "butterfly" not the unicorn cut. The unicorn sets the ponytail right up by the forehead to give long bangs & feathering around the face.

  I keep coming back to this video. My hairdresser's cut was getting expensive, and I was getting that thin "V" in the back when she was done (no matter how much I tried to explain). I was getting unhappy with it, even though I loved her. This works! I do this, then layer in the front with a razor. Luckily, with long hair, you can get away with minor things. Get compliments all the time, and saves money. Covid lockdown taught us a lot about ourselves. Thanks for your lovely video! ❤

  The only stylist I trusted with my straight hair had left my salon during Covid 😟 My hair had grown out really long with terrible split ends. I tried your cut about 8 months ago because your tutorial made it look soo easy & your cheerfulness helped me get up the nerve to cut it myself ✂️ Even though I have arthritis in my hands, I managed to get it done, and was amazed how great it turned out !
