Another solution I didn't mention in the video is banning firework sales to the public. There's a petition going around the UK for this right now.
I don't think this is a perfect solution, but I do think it would be a great first step.
If fireworks could only be set off by registered organisers the health and safety is going to be so much better (I didn't even mention all the burns & A&E influx) and countries with a risk of wildfires would be better protected.
The time frame would be limited, as would the pollution. Organisers would hopefully choose areas away from residents, and if there are residents nearby they could at least be warned.

Edited to add: the in video I referred to autistic children as children with autism. Someone really nicely pointed out that the preferred term is 'autistic' not 'with autism'.
I wasn't aware of this & I'll try my best to say autistic from here on out. I also thought I'd post their comment here, just in case you guys weren't aware either:
"I'd also like to encourage you to say autistic people rather than people with autism, autism isn't something one can develop/catch and the behavioural traits used to diagnose autism are also fundamental to the identity of a person. Therefore it's autistic people not people with autism, as the separation of the behaviour of autism from the behaviour of the person is impossible. Does that make sense? It can be complicated to understand but I thought I'd let you know as you are a very caring person."
