  I think Gus realized he reached his ceiling... Climbing back up to a #1 contender was one thing, but the UFC matchmakers weren't gonna push a 3rd especially after he got demolished in that 2nd fight..

  If you believe Gus was robbed. Then you dont know the fight game. I have as the challenger finish you to take the fight. Great fight but significant strikes are how that works. And Jones had him dizzy 3 or 4 times in the fight. If you are looking at blood and what not I will refer you to fighters like Diego Sanchez and The Axe Murderer who bled a ton but how they won was finish their opponent.

  Chael sonnen beat the shit out of anderson Silva for 5 full rounds and got tapped in the final seconds and jones massacred sonnen. He had the craziest fight of his life against gus, and absolutely decimated him the second time. That is an unbelievable amount adaptbility.

  Look for Gustafson fan saying he was robbed clearly, havent been in competition combat sport its clear that Jon Jones was winning but yes it was close this fight was really good how they BOTH trade blows is phenomenal 👏 but Jones got the bag 🎒 sorry guys if I seen Gustafson landing more hits and take downs and checking every most of jones attacks and they still give it to jones believe me I would be on you'll side saying the same thing but thats far from true yes Gustafson is a fantastic fighter I love him I would of cheer if Gustafson win and got the bag 🎒
