The most daunting thing about this entire page is the cage in the upper right side of the sheet. I’m sure he did it digitally but trying to work out how to do something like that with just pen and paper is mind boggling.

The blood splatter tip is amazing - have to try that out. Jim Lee does a similar thing with a card and whiteout for rain/stars.

I have a serious question, why don’t inkers crunch the levels on the artists pencils and so ink or photoshop touch ups instead of going ham on a photo blue page?

He uses a squash waterbrush and a black matte finish ink not so sure what brand but it's black matte

Just amazing work. Your brush use is inspiring! I'm a digital inker, but haven't been able to duplicate the effect where the brush starts out flat but then is pulled out to a point. There may not BE an equivalent!

In the beginning of the video it looks like you ink with the nib almost on it's side. Could you explain that technique? I tried inking like that and it didn't work at all. There must be a secret. :-)
