The blood splatter tip is amazing - have to try that out. Jim Lee does a similar thing with a card and whiteout for rain/stars.
Real good tutortial. Very talented, not only in inking, but in speaking to all ages, and having all ages understand. Keep up the videos because I believe that you have unmasked the mystery behind the technicality of page processing. Most important, you chose a page splash, and a dynamic one, only to come to life with your brushes and quills. Great Job. James Wiemer
I feel like I learn something everytime I watch this video (and I've watched it many times.) Great stuff!!!
As soon as I saw you using that splatter technique with black ink on the owl-bat piece, white-black ink combo crossed my mind. Thanks. You made me realize how unjustifiedly I've been underestimating the art of inking for so long.

The way your brushes move.. awesome.
Thanks so much! I always used a brush but it was difficult to control, but the pen nib method looks really great, Will try that soon!
Thanks for the tip, love the looks of the splatter... Amazing work!
These ink splatter techniques do look very effective....great video cheers!
Thank You Mr. Glapion, Very well done, very informative.
lol ok. Now. I've always seen the result of the gum trick but never knew how it was done. Thanks! I dig your work.
Awesome video! I've always wondered how to do different ink effects. I really like the stringy gloopy second effect you got - definitely gonna try that out! Thanks! :)
I like your style!
It can depending on how soft your nib is. I usually use an old nib (instead of throwing it away) so I don't worry about damaging it.
Very cool! Thanks for sharing that!
That was awesome!!!
Great techniques, cant wait to try them out :]
This is a friggin great tip. Thank you
i did use a similar trick, splatting the ink with a brush and covering parts of the draw with canson paper
Great advice. Thanks man
thank you for your videos.. nice tips for inking.. who did the penciling?
Grteat stuff and thanks for sharing! What camera did you use there? Cheers

Actually it was pencilled vy Yildiray Cinar...Mr glapion is giving the inks.. which is legitt
What would you call the best method to fix inking mistakes? White Gouache or White out, if either one can you please tell me how too use it properly. Im having issues where i use these to fix mistakes and it gets all bumpy and nasty with ink and makes my work look even worst. Im having a hard time getting it to smooth out.
Thanks man... very appreciated.
Thank you for the tutorial
What kind of ink is that for the majority of the lines? My India ink keeps like melting into my markers and watercolors. I dunno if I'm not waiting long enough, if it's not curing or what, but my lines always end up running into the color.
This is amazing. What camera do you use for this?
I always thought it was done digitally. Thank you for this video, very helpful :)

shinakazami1 there are brushes for it in ps but it doesnt look so good
you said you get different effect from a stiff nib than from a softer one so i was wondering what type of nib would be a softer one and which would be a stiffer one?
so you use different ink for brush and nib work? i think i heard you say that
Sweet!
Wow, thankyou so much!!
Fantastic stuff. What book is that page from?
So do you ink right on the same sheet that Cinar pencilled? Or do you ink on a printout of his pencils?
Very nice...
do you follow any anatomy procedures for development of your characters to get a precise look or style? if you know what i mean. like i've been studying anatomy and i draw better characters fluidly without it, but i try to use anatomy properly i never seem to get what i want to achieve by using it
can you make a video on how heavy smoke is done?
Can you make a video about inking speed lines?
nice one ... thx for sharing!
added to the description.
Inkers are a fearless lot.
there are few inks to study of female characters in comics compared to men, can you do a video comparing the use of line and thought process when inking female characters compared to males?
cool!!!!
Do you ink over the original pencils?
what camera do you use?
what pencil you use??
Hey Jonathan, i'm a great fan of your inks and i would like to know the name of this brush... It's the one to make outlines right?

+Spuminha Nas Europa He may have been using the Raphael 8404 at this point. I know Glapion has mentioned before it's about the shape of the brush, not necessarily the brand, but he's also said that he prefers the shape of the Raphael over the Windsor and Newton Series 7 brushes.
But seriously... great video, thanks for the demonstration!
Does it the original page or a copy of your drawing ?
That same ink line seemed designed to spray right
It's nice inking in paper : if you make a mistake, you can't go backward in time.
try airbrushing i love it
Fuck yeah, thanks man!
You may see the film Butterfly Effect.
Looks like the cloverfield monster in a way.
EB Games....wow, haven't seen an EB games in a loooong time ! I thought they didn't exist anymore.
Yaw, thanks for the vid.
Or can we? ;P
