  The reason why some of the osts are like that is because primal rage 2 was in beta when it was cancelled. This was gonna be Necrosan's theme and stage More themes and stages were planned, as well as different character endings.

  I was trying to play this on mame 201 and when you knock down a character they will fall and land above the floor a bit. .Does this still happen on this version of mame do you know?

  All versions of MAME including the current latest, MAME 0.262, has this issue. This is due to unemulated protection.

  I remember as a kid in 2005 i always seeing the intro of this game at a encanto park. I always liked the song it played at the end 0:16 to 0:17 I always like the melody of it such a awesome game

  It was canceled because Midway bought out atari games because they didn't want primal rage to interfere with mortal kombats success

  I played this very much, you're really good at it! This is the first time I've ever seen the human side beaten though, I never played that mode past the first area because I only wanted to be dinosaurs. This was the first time I've seen all the traps and dialog, you have a lot more weapons than I thought. I also never noticed before this that the power-on T-rex's growl was the word "Sega". If you play the dino mode as well I'll enjoy watching that too. : 3

  Some cool tips I found to add to this game: -In the raft section, when you're supposed to ditch a raft and then jump to the right and run past the rex and get to another raft, you can actually just keep holding right while you're in the first raft and launch yourself over the lower platform and safely to the water below. This enables you to avoid switching rafts at that point. -Rockets will permanently KO Raptors. However, they can also pass through certain walls. Notably, in the final area of the visitor's center. You can do this to shoot a rocket at the raptor that ambushes you in the vents and you basically have a clear run to the final conflict of the level. -As the raptor, pressing different combinations of A, B, and C on the controller will make your raptor do unique things. For example, pressing A and C at the same time will let your raptor do the Hiss animation. If you press A and B and hold it at the same time when you bite a human, you will grab and "shake" them until you let go of the buttons. Try it out!

  This game is still probably the best JP game I've ever played. it was YEARS before I knew that using the Tazer on the brachiosaurus would make her lower her head. It's a hard game, but the music and atmosphere is iconic. Please do a raptor playthrough as well. I am ecstatic to see this full game in full speed.
