Primal Rage | Special Moves Demonstration for Version 2.3 and Version 2.3J

In this video I demonstrate how special moves differ between Primal Rage Version 2.3 and Version 2.3J, in this demonstration I use Vertigo to showcase how moves are performed in Version 2.3 using the hold multiple button method, while in Version 2.3J I show both the new way and the remaining old way of performing the moves.
For some reason Version 2.3J removed some of the old moves, but kept a lot of them still intact, with Vertigo the removed moves for the old way are her Scorpion Sting and her eat a human move. I can understand the eat the human move being removed, since Version 2.3J added a universal eat human move for all characters, but why remove moves that don't get in the way of other newer moves, such as Vertigo's Scorpion Sting?
This video also acts as proof that the console versions of MAT2 does in fact use the Version 2.3J specials instead of the standard Version 2.3 ones. For some reason the PC version of MAT2 found in Midway Arcade Treasures Deluxe uses the Version 2.3 specials and not the Version 2.3J ones like the console versions.

That's super wild. Side note, as odd as it is, there is next to no documentation of the animations. Like no "sprite sheet" of the characters. I've been looking for the animation of Vertigo's Low Fierce where she lashes out her tail but it just isn't present anywhere outside of an awesome combo. This vid is one of the few showing it.

You can view all the animations I think inside the mugen port of vertigo by lord siniestro using fighter factory
I personally prefer the new method over the old, but that's just me (holding 3 buttons against 1 in the major set of moves feels more natural), there is also the fact some feel better to pull considering the usual hand moves I do. Again, just a personal bias. In a perfect world, I would love to do what one of my favorite games (Senko no Ronde) does, which when you select your character, you are allowed to choose between "old" and "new" methods of move (I even came with the idea of calling them "Primal" for old, and "Hunter" for new), so both sides of the player base could co-exist without much issue.
I see, fun trivia. I want to see every one of the fighters eating the humans.

The games protection needs to be broken first, and that is not an easy task. The protection is what's causing a lot of the issues you see in MAME including the floating characters.

@@Gruntzilla94 They fixed it on the PlayStation Midway treasures. The only problem the Midway treasures has is that sometimes the some sounds get muted
